Anthea Mitchell graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Political Science and a BA in Art and Design cum laude. In college she worked a late night radio shift, covered crime for the University paper, and did a weekly weird news segment for student television on everything from phallic tombstones to supermodel snake attacks. After graduating, she interned at a newspaper in Kathmandu, Nepal, writing on transgender issues and fire safety. In her free time, Anthea enjoys scuba diving, reading, and traveling. She has been peed on by camels and sipped beer with a former Yakuza in Ulaanbaatar. She has eaten whale in Norway, horse in Mongolia, yak in Nepal, and blow fish in Japan, but never anything as delicious as potato dumplings and absinthe in the Czech Republic.
