‘Big Brother 22’: Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel Admitted They ‘Ghosted’ Nicole Anthony’s Podcast, Upsetting Fans
After the live premiere for Big Brother 22: All-Stars, the returning houseguests began talking and getting to know each other better. Dani Donato Briones and Nicole Franzel “gossipped” about last season’s fan-favorite Nicole Anthony, upsetting the BB fandom.
‘Big Brother 22: All-Stars cast revealed during the premiere
For the first time in a regular Big Brother season, the viewers found out who made the cast live during the premiere episode.
BB6 and 7 Kaysar Ridha and finalist Janelle Pierzina, BB8 runner-up Dani Donato Briones, BB10’s Keesha Smith and runner-up Memphis Garrett, BB11 finalist Kevin Campbell, BB12 finalist Enzo Palumbo, BB15 winner Ian Terry, BB16’s Cody Calafiore, BB17’s Christmas Abbott, BB17 and BB18 Da’Vonne Rogers, BB18 champ Nicole Franzel, BB20’s Bayleigh Dayton and Tyler Crispen, BB21’s David Alexander and America’s Favorite Houseguest recipient Nicole Anthony all returned for the highly anticipated season.
The all-stars entered the house in same-gender groups of four and competed against each other in a competition upon entering. The first two who completed in the groups then went-to-head in one final challenge for the title of Head of Household. Calafiore came out on top, earning the title for the first week.
Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel ‘ghosted’ Nicole Anthony
After meeting each other in the living room, Dani, Da’Vonne, Christmas, Bayleigh, and Nicole F. sauntered off to the Photo Room. Others also came into the room and eventually left, leaving Dani and Nicole F alone.
Almost immediately after the last person left, the mother-of-one quietly asked the BB18 winner who she liked. Nicole F. pointed out Da’Vonne and admitted she wanted to make amends with the fan-favorite after she betrayed her in their previous season.
Dani agreed about liking the two-time competitor but noted that she believes Bayleigh is “very opinionated” and might be “problematic.” Additionally, Dani pointed out how the other competitors are “fangirling” over Kaysar and Janelle, to which Nicole F made a disgusted face.
The ladies began gossipping as Dani asked how David, who was evicted first last season, made the cast. Nicole F. also talked about how she received a direct message from Nicole A. about appearing on her podcast but didn’t open it.
Dani admitted she opened it and laughed about “ghosting” the fan-favorite, which didn’t sit well with the BB fandom.
‘Big Brother 22’ fans annoyed with Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel
Many viewers quickly came to Nicole A’s defense and called Dani, and the BB18 winner “mean girls” for “bullying” their favorite contestant. Some stated they were “canceling” the mother-of-one and are no longer rooting for her to win.
Additionally, many didn’t want Dani aligning with Nicole F. as they’ve already deemed her a snake due to circulating rumors that she “snitched” on BB legends Dan Gheesling (BB10 winner) and Derrick Levasseur (BB16 champ) for pre-gaming, resulting in their removal.
Other fans defended the BB8 runner-up and claimed she probably didn’t have time to do the podcast as she’s a wife with a child now. Some viewers also don’t think it’s a “big deal” and believe the fans are blowing things out of proportion.
