Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott certainly have an interesting relationship. The pair met at Coachella in 2017 and clicked immediately. From that moment forward the duo seemed to be joined at each other’s hip. When Jenner got pregnant with their daughter, Stormi, she went into hiding, taking time to care for herself and unborn child away from the spotlight.

Following Stormi’s birth, the rapper and makeup mogul seemed stronger than ever. They constantly praised each other on social media and lavished each other with gifts and presents. Scott even spoke about his love for Jenner on some of his songs.

Therefore, when the pair went their separate ways in 2019, fans were stunned. Since then, there has been a ton of speculation about when and if the duo would reunite. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star‘s latest Instagram caption seems to hint that she’s ready to rekindle things with Scott.

In the weeks prior to their breakup, Scott and Jenner graced Netflix’s red carpet for the debut of Scott’s documentary, Look Mom, I Can Fly they seemed like the picture of bliss. However, some underlying issues in their relationship were reportedly beginning to crack.

“Travis was getting antsy not going out more now that Stormi is older and he wanted to live the life he has afforded himself and be out and about more,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “Though Kylie is young and wants to go out herself, she is also a wonderful mother and wants to live her life as a family. He really likes focusing on touring instead of chilling with Kylie and Stormi. Not that it isn’t fun for him, but it is something he doesn’t always want to do. [Kylie] doesn’t like Travis not wanting to be there more often doing the family thing and that was one of the initial strains that brought upon the breakup.”

Scott got candid about the breakup in early 2020.  “The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without a million outside voices interfering,” he told XXL.

Despite the demise of their romantic relationship, the co-parents have remained extremely close. “We’re like, best friends,” Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar. “We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”

The pair have continued to spend a ton of time together and Jenner recently threw Scott the nicest Father’s Day party.

Though it’s clear that the pair still have a deep emotional attachment to one another, up until recently they seemed content with the current status of their relationship. “Kylie is at a place in her life where she’s having fun and is not worried about what her future romantic relationship with Travis looks like,” a source told Us Weekly. “They love spending time together and parenting Stormi.”

However, Jenner’s latest Instagram caption may prove she’s ready for more with Scott. The Kylie Cosmetics founder is currently vacationing in Utah. She snapped a photo wearing a lavish dress and captioned it, “only thing missing is you.” Fans immediately reacted saying,

  • “are you talking about Travis or what?”
