Though many royal fans don’t agree with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s decision to break free of the British royal family — the royal couple has decided to do what’s best for their mental health and the well-being of their son, Archie Harrison.

Still, Megxit wasn’t simply about living a quieter and more peaceful life, it has also opened the door for the Sussexes to take on roles that they may not have been able to grasp previously. Though they aren’t about to star on reality shows or begin endorsing fat-burning teas, the sky is the limit (within reason) for this new era of the duke and duchess’ life.

“We could easily compare them to any former presidents,” Royal commentator and author Kristen Meinzer explained to Business Insider. “My mind keeps going to Barack and Michelle Obama and how [they] make money. The reason I compare the two is that they’re already friends with each other and I would put them on the same level in terms of fame.”

In fact, following a speech at JP Morgan which reportedly garnered him a $1 million paycheck, Prince Harry allegedly has a new role at Goldman Sachs.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may head to Hollywood

With rumors swirling that the duke and duchess are heading to Los Angeles for the summer to take meetings and scope out the scene, we think the duo’s next monetary adventure could be in Hollywood.

“Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach,” a source tells Us Weekly. “It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects. “[Meghan] has no plans to do another show like Suits, but Harry’s been encouraging her to do more voice-over work, writing, producing and directing in her free time.”

However, the pair won’t be taking on just any project that they are offered. Earlier this month, they turned down the opportunity to present at the 92nd Academy Awards. An alleged insider told Express, “They were honoured by the request, but declined the invitation.”

Prince Harry might have a new role at Goldman Sachs

In addition to his talk at the JP Morgan event, Prince Harry is now reportedly in talks with multinational investment bank Goldman Sachs. According to Page Six, the duke is considering a potential partnership and future guest-speaking gig for the company’s Talks at GS series.

Other celebrities who have previously participated are Gwyneth Paltrow, Karlie Kloss, and Hillary Clinton.

However, Harper’s Bazaar is stating that this has been in the works well-before Megxit. They are reporting that any work that the prince does with Goldman Sachs will be in conjunction with one of his many of his official patronages.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry don’t want to be seen as tacky

Though they are no longer working members of the British royal family, the Sussexes have stated that they are determined to “honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.” However they choose to make money moving forward will have to be done with the utmost consideration and care.
