The Bachelor” season 24 is proving to be quite emotional. The show is barely four episodes in and some of the women are already fighting. Others are being accused of not signing up for the right reasons. Former “The Bachelor” star Demi Burnett believes most of the contestants are only in it for the fame. Former “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” star Demi Burnett told “Entertainment Tonight” she will be on high alert for liars during Weber’s season. Burnett made a special appearance during the third episode of “The Bachelor” season 24. She hosted a pillow fighting date for the contestants. She told “Entertainment Tonight” she’s keeping a close eye on the women. “I’m gonna keep my eyes peeled on all these ladies. I can’t have anybody messing with my boy Peter,” she said.

During that same interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Weber discussed his thoughts about his season. Like most of the other stars of the show before him, Weber says he doesn’t want to get hurt in the process of finding love. “I don’t want my heart to fall for someone that I could see possibly hurting me in the end, so I’m going to be very careful moving forward,” Weber said. “But I trust myself and I’m going to follow my heart and trust my intuition and I think I’ll be good.” He told “Entertainment Tonight” that the situation between Kelsey and Hannah Ann (what some fans have referred to as champagne-gate) has him feeling confused.

During a podcast about “The Bachelor,” Rachel Lindsay spoke about Weber’s season. She says Burnett told her during a podcast Lindsay hosted that the women in Weber’s season are not there for the right reasons. According to Lindsay, Burnett says the women were more interested in hearing about her and her experience on “The Bachelor” than focusing on how to get to know Weber. Lindsay says Demi told her Kelley (the woman who met Weber in a hotel before becoming a contestant on the show) is the only person who didn’t do that. Here’s what Lindsay said about her conversation with Burnett:

Demi was on our podcast and she said she’s never met so many girls who were there for the wrong reasons. Even outside of the date, she said, ‘These girls are so on. They know exactly what they’re doing, they’re makeup is on point, they know what to say, they know how to act.’ She said, ‘I never met a group of girls who were just clinging to me.’ Remember, she went to the house. [The women] were all like, ‘Demi, we’re such a big fan. Demi this, Demi that,’ as opposed to focusing on Peter.

According to Lindsay, Burnett said Kelley was the only person who didn’t talk to her. Burnett thought it was rude. However, Lindsay says this wasn’t a bad thing because it shows Kelley is there for the right reasons. Lindsay says she wouldn’t have spoken to Burnett in that situation either because she would have been focused on winning Weber’s heart.
