In the June 16 episode of the Hallmark Channel show, Mike Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) got down on one knee and asked Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) to marry him. She said yes, and the happy couple isn’t wasting any time on a long engagement. With Mei’s family planning a visit to Hope Valley, she and Mike are organizing a last-minute wedding so that they can celebrate with all their loved ones.

Hallmark hasn’t shared any photos of the bride in her wedding gown. But a quick glimpse in a teaser (via YouTube) for “Anything for Love” suggests that she’ll be wearing a red dress that honors her Chinese heritage.

Fiona returns for Mei and Mike’s big day

Mike and Mei’s big day will also bring the return of a character who’s so far been missing from When Calls the Heart Season 11. Fiona (Kayla Wallace) has been away from Hope Valley this season working with the suffragette movement. But she’s made a trip back to celebrate with her friends.

“You didn’t think I’d miss your big day?” she tells a delighted Mei.

Mei will have no shortage of people by her side as she prepares for her wedding. Based on photos from the episode, it looks like Faith (Andrea Brooks) will be one of her bridesmaids, while Faith’s foster daughter Lily (Chloe McKinnon) might be a flower girl.

Elizabeth and Nathan will share a moment

Mike’s proposal to Mei wasn’t the only romantic moment in the previous episode of When Calls the Heart. Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) finally acted on their obvious feelings for each other and shared a kiss. Now, it looks like they’re moving forward with their relationship.

A sneak peek at the finale (via YouTube) shows the two lovebirds on a picnic with their kids, Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) and Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich). When Allie and Jack wander off to pick blackberries, Elizabeth and Nathan have a flirty conversation where she suggests that they trade secrets about each other.

Finally, it sounds like Governor Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) is moving forward after the dramatic hostage situation and the shocking revelations about Jeannette (Cecilia Deacon). Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith) will pitch Lucas an idea for the future of Hope Valley in the finale, according to the official episode synopsis from Hallmark.

The When Calls the Heart Season 11 finale airs Sunday, June 23 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.
