Shang-Chi
Shang-Chi is an American superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. In 2021, Disney released a standalone superhero film: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The film starred actor Simu Li in the titular character of Shang-Chi. The film also stars Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung as Xu Wenwu, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Michelle Yeoh as Ying Nan, Fala Chen as Li, and Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery.
Shang-Chi proved to be a massive success for Disney. It was the first Disney blockbuster film to get a theatrical-only release during the Covid-19 global pandemic. The film has been applauded by critics and proves the power of inclusivity and diversity in the movie sphere.
