Laura Dorwart

Laura Dorwart earned her MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Antioch University and her Ph.D. from UC San Diego. She’s been writing about the entertainment industry since 2013 and joined the Showbiz Cheat Sheet team in 2019. She focuses her coverage here on popular TV including Sister Wives and Married at First Sight, along with book coverage and the representation of mental health and disability in entertainment media.

Laura was a 2020 Sundance Institute Press Inclusion Inititiative scholarship recipient.
