Meg Dowell joined the Endgame360 team in 2017, and since then has blended her education in health communications with her personal passions in the entertainment industry. She’s been a Digital Editor since 2019 and works most often with contributor content on Showbiz Cheat Sheet. She’s particularly focused on content for Grey’s Anatomy — she never misses an episode — and from the Food Network, since it blends her interests in health + nutrition with the entertainment of watching other people cook.
Meg is also our resident in-house expert on all things Star Wars: She’s a lifelong fan of the franchise and it’s the one thing she could give an impromptu TED Talk on without notes. Not one to limit herself to just one fictional universe, she’s also an avid book and comic reader, and is well versed in all things Marvel as well. She’s fascinated by the fellow fans of each one, who have created their own spaces for discussing, theorizing, and even creating things inspired by the stories they love. For Meg, the most fun part about getting to create content about these topics is being a fan who gets to do that, share ideas, and spark joy in others simply by being a fan first.
Meg is a member of the International Association of Professional Writers & Editors. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in English and Dietetics from Olivet Nazarene University, a graduate certificate in Visual/Digital Health Communications from Boston University, and her master’s degree in Health Communications from BU as well.
