Monique Douty

Monique Douty began contributing content to Showbiz Cheat Sheet in 2020, and occasionally contributes to MotorBiscuit as well. She’s been a freelance writer covering the entertainment industry for more than six years. She is a lifelong DC and Marvel fan and read lots of comic books growing up. She’s also a self-professed movie fanatic, which was cemented during her time working in a video store in high school. Monique is also an avid reader, typically within the sci-fi, horror, and fantasy genres.

Monique is inspired in her work by several authors and entertainment figures, including Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, Tim Burton, Audrey Hepburn, and Stan Lee, to name a few. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Phoenix.
