Rita DeMichiel

Rita DeMichiel began as a contributing writer for Showbiz Cheat Sheet in 2018. She has her associate’s degree in film and television production, with extensive coursework in journalism, from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Rita is a lifelong student of the entertainment industry and always wanted to be the personal assistant to Tom Cruise. In lieu of landing that coveted gig, Rita has run her own freelance production company for the past 20 years where she’s produced television commercials, planned global events and conferences, managed productions, and otherwise worked extensively in the entertainment industry. That experience lends itself well to her coverage of Hollywood celebrities and what they endure to keep the cameras rolling. She’s also fond of the unique seasonal coverage on Showbiz that comes up from time to time.
