2022 Billboard Music Awards: Becky G, Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, and More Join Performance Lineup
More artists have joined the performance lineup for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. On May 9, Billboard announced that Becky G, Ed Sheeran, Elle King with Miranda Lambert, and Travis Scott will perform at the upcoming music awards show. Some already-announced performers at the 2022 BBMAs include Silk Sonic, Megan Thee Stallion, and Florence + The Machine.
Billboard revealed more performers for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards
The 2022 BBMAs will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 15. Leading up to the award show, Billboard has been announcing performers in stages.
On May 9, Billboard announced the third round of performers, revealing that Becky G, Ed Sheeran, King with Lambert, and Scott joined the lineup. An updated list of 2022 BBMAs performers can be viewed below.

What to know about the 2022 Billboard Music Awards performances
As of right now, there are 13 acts performing at the 2022 BBMAs. In press releases, Billboard has shared what to expect from some of the performances.
According to Billboard:
- Becky G will perform “from the Xfinity stage,” and it will be her debut performance at the BBMAs.
- Ed Sheeran will perform from Belfast, Northern Ireland, as he is currently on his +–=÷x Tour.
- Florence + The Machine “will deliver a trademark whirlwind performance.”
- Maxwell’s BBMAs stage will be a “special tribute performance to a pop milestone,” and it is expected to invoke “nostalgia.”
- Silk Sonic’s performance will be “a smooth yet vibrant display.”
- Megan Thee Stallion’s performance is set “to be a dynamic production.”
- Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the award show for the first time in 23 years, as their last BBMAs performance took place in 1999.
- Travis Scott is expected to put on “a memorable performance.”

Sean “DIDDY” Combs will host the 2022 BBMAs. At the award show, Mary J. Blige will receive the Icon Award, and Mari Copeny will be honored as the third annual Billboard Music Award Changemaker.
