Days of Our Lives actors Eric Martsolf and James Reynolds have a chance to become two-time winners. Meanwhile, John McCook hopes to take home the gold for The Bold and the Beautiful.

For the Actress side, The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan scored a leading actor nom after previously being nominated for Supporting Actress. She’ll have tough competition from General Hospital‘s Laura Wright and Cynthia Watros and Days of Our Lives stars Marci Miller and Arianne Zucker.

Supporting Actor and Actress categories have first-time nominees

The Supporting Actor and Actress categories feature some notable names. The Bold and the Beautiful star Kimberlin Brown scores her second nomination 29 years after her first nod. The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway and General Hospital‘s Kelly Thiebaud earned their first nominations. Rounding out the category is two-time winner Nancy Lee Grahn and Stacy Haiduk.

The younger Performer category is a tough race

All the acting categories for the 2022 Daytime Emmys are a tough race, but the Younger Performer may be one too close to call. Former The Young and the Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind scored her second nomination and is a favorite to take home the prize. However, she’ll have to beat out the General Hospital trio of Nicholas Chavez, William Lipton, and Sydney Mikayla. Also, Lindsay Arnold from Days of Our Lives put in a remarkable performance as Allie.
