Already wearing green? Why not drink green too with the Pioneer Woman’s Healthy Green Smoothie. Available on the official Pioneer Woman website, Drummond St. Patrick’s Day drink recipe takes only five minutes to make.

Like most smoothie recipes, the instructions are pretty straightforward. Simply put all of the ingredients in a blender. Toss in some ice and blend until smooth.

Greek yogurt and milk make the smoothie extra creamy. Meanwhile, kale is responsible for its vibrant green hue.

However, those aren’t the only ingredients. Pineapple chunks, green seedless grapes, a green apple, a banana, pear chunks, and honey also go in the blender.

2. Make Pioneer Woman Guinness Floats in 5 minutes

This is another five-minute Drummond St. Patrick’s Day drink recipe. Sure, the cookbook author herself admits they might seem weird but promises they’re delicious.

“If you’ve never had a Guinness Float, you’ve got to try one sometime in your life,” she wrote on her site in 2013. “If you think it sounds like a weird, grody concoction, you’re not alone: I felt the same way when I first heard of their existence.”

She continued, saying she eventually tried one. “It intrigued me enough to try one eventually … and hoo boy,” she said. Drummond described it as “Delicious. Strange, yes. Different, definitely. But so, so, so, so good.”

“It’s like a regular coke float or root beer float, but a little more challenging … less sweet,” and “so divine!” she concluded.

To make Drummond’s St. Patrick’s Day drink puts scoops of vanilla ice cream in frosted mugs. Then slowly pour Guinness over the top and serve with spoons and straws.

Have 10 minutes to spare? Whip up Drummond’s Irish Coffee which she discussed in a March 2022 post on her Pioneer Woman website. It’s dark, strong coffee topped with whipped cream and a splash of Bailey’s. It’s, perhaps, one of her best Pioneer Woman coffee recipes

Make it in three steps. Combine heavy whipping cream in a bowl with Bailey’s which Drummond describes as a liqueur made of Irish whiskey and cream. Once it’s stiff and fluffy set it aside.

Another option is to leave out the Bailey’s. But according to Drummond “it just makes this extra good.” Alternatively, she suggests replacing it with “a little sugar and a touch of vanilla!”

Next, add whiskey, what she calls “the essential component of Irish coffee,” to a coffee cup. Add in brown sugar and coffee. Finally, put a lot of cream on top. “You want a nice, thick layer of cream so you can sip the coffee through the cream,” the cookbook author explained.

Serve it alone or as part of Drummond’s St. Patrick’s Day menu.
