De Laurentiis’ dinner recipe for Steak Involtini looks more difficult to make than it actually is

Similar to braciole, involtini are tender bundles of meat, as De Laurentiis explained on her lifestyle and food blog Giadzy: “This steak involtini is inspired by an older way of Roman cooking – Romans used to buy scraps of beef leftover at the markets because they were cheaper. They’d fill those scraps with whatever was leftover at home – vegetables, cheese, or even breadcrumbs. It’s a simple way to elevate a less expensive cut and serve it in a way that’s still delicious.”

“My 13-year-old devoured it, got up to get more, and was quite upset I didn’t make more. The filling has so much flavor. Thanks, Giada!,” a Food Network reviewer wrote on the site.

Another home cook tried it with chicken: “I made this today with chicken and another day with steak – just great and easier than bracciola! Must try, a wonderful dish and so easy!”

Giada De Laurentiis’ Slow Cooker Short Rib Ragu is perfect for the holiday of love

This delicious sauce is the ultimate “fix-it-and-forget-it” dish and has quite a cast of ingredients to thank for its complex flavors including San Marzano tomatoes, red wine, and even dark chocolate.

Home cooks penned their love for De Laurentiis’ dish on the Food Network site.

“If I had to pick one dish to eat the rest of my, this would be it!,” one reviewer vowed.

Another said, “Guests were GUSHING. This recipe earned me rock star status. I served it with homemade pasta – which really made it unbelievable. The homemade pasta soaks up the sauce and really deepens the flavor.”

De Laurentiis’ dinner recipe for Lobster Fra Diavolo is impressive

This sumptuous seafood dish from the Simply Giada star can be made with lobster on its own, or with the addition of shrimp and clams as well. In fact, you can customize it to your loved ones’ preferences.

De Laurentiis’ dinner recipe adds an Anaheim chile pepper for the “diavolo” kick, and white wine brings a hint of acidity to the dish.

Reviewers on Food Network’s site did indeed make this recipe their own.

“Delicious!!! Lots of prep work but worth every minute!! I used all fresh seafood from our local market! Will definitely make this over and over for friends and family!,” one home cook said.

Another fan added, “This was not as difficult as this beginner cook thought! I have several friends asking me to make it again soon. Followed the recipe but used some Calabrian chilies for the heat. Give it a try and your friends will be very impressed.”
