50 Cent has made his dislike of Sean “Diddy” Combs clear for years. In the months since his arrest, he has frequently spoken about Combs and why he chose not to attend his parties. As Combs prepares for his trial, 50 Cent predicts that he has no chance of recovering his public image, even if the trial goes his way.

50 Cent thinks Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ career is over no matter how his trial goes

While discussing recent rape allegations against Jay-Z, 50 Cent said he believes the rapper and executive’s career will not fully recover. A plaintiff alleged that Jay-Z and Combs raped her when she was 13 years old.

“It isn’t what you did. It’s what they said you did,” he said, per Us Weekly. “The damage is already done by the allegation itself.”

He also shared his thoughts on Combs, who has faced a cascade of abuse allegations.

“When we think of all of those different allegations, they pile up — he’s cooked,” 50 Cent said. “But I don’t know how much of that turns into actually what he’s up against.”

He believes public opinion of Combs has shifted so sharply that he will never be able to recover even if he avoids prison time.

“Public opinion, he’s washed. He’s washed,” he said. “They washed him.”

50 Cent has feuded with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for years

50 Cent feuded with Combs long before his arrest. He said he found it odd that Combs once invited him to go shopping.

“He asked to take me shopping,” he said in a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I thought that was the weirdest s*** in the world because that might be something that a man says to a woman. And I’m just like, ‘Naw, I’m not f***ing with this weird energy or weird s***,’ coming off the way he was just moving. From that, I wasn’t comfortable around him.”

He said he had no interest in Combs’ notorious parties.

“I didn’t ever party or hang out with him,” he said. “I see people that were taken advantage of, who produced things that he took from them … He’s been able to take advantage of the business and the creatives in it.”

He believes Jay-Z’s career is also at risk due to a recent lawsuit

50 Cent spoke about the way the recent allegations might impact Jay-Z’s family.

“I just hope things are alright for him internally, at the crib,” he said. “In the statement, they mentioned his daughter [Blue Ivy] being old enough [to understand]. She’s about 13. So it’s the same age as his kids what [they are] saying he did.”

He also wondered if the Super Bowl halftime show, which Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation produces, will still go forward as planned.

“They will fall back … the NFL, they won’t necessarily be associated to that.”

As of right now, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the league’s partnership with Jay-Z will not change.
