Not sure what to get the Ina Garten fan in your life? Look no further. Ahead, there are seven last-minute Christmas gifts any Barefoot Contessa fan would love. (There might even be exclamations of “fabulous” when these are opened.)

1. Talbots denim shirt

First up, dressing like Garten. She’s known to be a fan of Talbots’ button-down shirts, so why not gift a Barefoot Contessa fan one of their own? Get a denim shirt at Talbots for just under $54.

2. ‘Be Ready When the Luck Happens’ memoir

Instead of releasing a cookbook in 2024, Garten penned a deeply personal memoir. Be Ready When the Luck Happens charts her childhood, working at the White House, running a specialty food store in the Hamptons, and becoming a cookbook author.

Released in October 2024, Garten’s memoir is currently on sale on Amazon for $17.

3. Barefoot Contessa cookbooks

This is a no-brainer Christmas gift for Barefoot Contessa fans. Replace an old, worn copy of one of Garten’s many cookbooks to start 2025 fresh. Or help complete someone’s collection of Barefoot Contessa cookbooks (Garten’s in the double-digits with cookbooks now). Bonus: Many are currently on sale for the holiday season as low as $19.

4. Fran’s caramels

“Everyone likes” Fran’s caramels, according to Garten (via Food & Wine). So why not gift a Barefoot Contessa fan with what Garten’s likely given out herself? The Seattle-based chocolatier has caramels, which start at $18.25, available at various retailers, such as Sur La Table and Whole Foods.

5 The Barefoot Contessa’s preferred ‘good vanilla’

Time and time again Garten’s used “good vanilla” in her dishes. But what does she actually mean when she says those words? Her go-to storebought brand for vanilla extract is Nielsen-Massey. Look for it at local grocery stores, get a $53 variety pack at Williams Sonoma, or buy a $15 or $20 bottle from the brand’s Amazon storefront.

6. Ina Garten Christmas gifts: PepperMate pepper mill

A pepper mill might sound like a random Christmas gift—to be fair, it is to a certain degree—but for Barefoot Contessa fans it’s an IYKYK (if you know you know) sort of thing. Garten can be seen on Be My Guest using a PepperMate pepper mill often. It has a place in the kitchen at her barn in East Hampton, New York.

Get one at Cassandra’s Kitchen in black—the white one Garten uses is unavailable at the time of writing—for $39.95.

7. The Barefoot Contessa’s favorite oil from Olio Santo

Diehard Barefoot Contessa fans will especially appreciate the gift of Garten’s go-to olive oil from Olio Santo. It’s what she uses when she refers to “good” olive oil in her recipes and on her cooking shows.

Get it on Amazon, at Williams Sonoma, or Sur La Table in varying sizes for anywhere from $24 to $45. Pro tip: Gift the olive oil alongside a box of the De Cecco pasta and some Parmigiano Reggiano—both Barefoot Contessa pantry staples—so the recipient can make Garten’s Spaghetti Aglio E Olio recipe.

Last but certainly not least is sending Barefoot Contessa cookie dough via Goldbelly. For just under $100, choose from chocolate white chocolate chunk and chocolate chunk, and the recipient will have Garten’s cookie dough at their fingertips ready to put in the oven. How easy is that? Act fast because Christmas Eve is still available as a possible delivery date.
