9 Iconic Quips Lisa Vanderpump Has Made About Her Bravo Co-Stars
Bravo star Lisa Vanderpump is known to viewers as a network staple, starring on the first nine seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and executive producing and starring on Vanderpump Rules. Her British accent, mischievous sense of humor, and sophisticated style make her a scene stand-out and fan-favorite. Not to mention those Vanderpump quips!

Ken Todd: Lisa Vanderpump’s husband
Ken Todd is Vanderpump’s husband and co-star in life, so he’s been alongside her on both Bravo shows. And fans know she often makes a joke out of their bedroom antics, as they’ve been married for 40 years. While there are many hilarious Vanderpump quips about Todd to choose from, one naughty remark stands out.
“My husband calls me a sex object. He says every time he wants sex, I object,” she teased during the first season of RHOBH.
Adrienne Maloof: former star of RHOBH
It seemed like Vanderpump had a few tense moments with former co-star Adrienne Maloof on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In the first episode of season 3, the two seemingly tried to see eye to eye. Apparently, Vanderpump thought Maloof seemed on edge about being around her.
“I feel that she’s nervous. I don’t mean to make her nervous,” she noted modestly before adding, “That much.”
James Kennedy: Vanderpump Rules star and DJ
Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy often displays DJ skills on the show, and Vanderpump seems to support him in that – mostly. As fans of the show know, there were times Kennedy caused a scene, seemingly due to a combination of hubris and heavy drinking.
In episode 4 of season 5, Vanderpump felt things weren’t “copacetic” and decided to bring Kennedy down a notch. “You’re not Calvin Harris,” she reminded him after he gloated about “winning.”
Lisa Rinna: star of RHOBH
When Vanderpump’s former RHOBH co-star Lisa Rinna suggested she and others on the show should get paid for the Vanderpumps Dogs spin-off, Vanderpump didn’t sound pleased.
When asked about Rinna’s comments, Vanderpump told Entertainment Tonight, “My favorite tagline was, ‘I’m passionate about dogs, just not crazy about b**ches.'”
Stassi Schroeder: former Vanderpump Rules star
Former employee Stassi Schroeder had a falling out with Vanderpump, then approached her ex-boss to extend an apology in season 4. But Vanderpump said she felt they were “hollow words” – among other things – and a seemingly exasperated Schroeder eventually tried to conclude the meeting with, “You hate me.”
Seemingly unaffected by the emotional display, Vanderpump landed a quip: “You know what? You’re not important enough to hate. Sit down.” Schroeder’s face said it all.
Jax Taylor: former Vanderpump Rules star
Former Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor went head-to-head with a lot of people during his time on the show, including Vanderpump and Todd. Some might argue that he liked being the center of attention – or the “number one guy in the group.”
It was during one on-camera tantrum that Taylor asked to speak to Vanderpump and she bluntly told him, “I’m not interested in anything you have to say right now. Nothing of what’s coming out of your mouth is of any interest to me.” Oof!
Brandi Glanville: former star of RHOBH
When Brandi Glanville debuted on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she found friends in Vanderpump and Todd. But their friendship eventually soured, and Vanderpump told Andy Cohen why she’d distanced herself from Glanville on Watch What Happens Live.
“I mean, she says a lot of crap a lot of the time,” she explained.
TomTom: two Toms, Vanderpump Rules stars
In season 7 of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz presented concepts for a cocktail list to Vanderpump for their joint venture — a bar called TomTom. But she seemed discouraged by their lack of effective, practical progress beyond ideas that might only work in theory.
“Unicorn urine spiced martinis – that’s great! But I need to see it!” she exclaimed about their concoctions.
Kyle Richards: star of RHOBH
It would take too long to get through all of the ups and downs between Vanderpump and ex-friend Kyle Richards of RHOBH. So briefly, things came to a head when Richards accused Vanderpump of giving stories about co-stars to the press. It wasn’t the first time she’d insinuated Vanderpump was a manipulative friend — but it was seemingly the last.
“Show yourself out, darlin’,” Vanderpump told Richards in the midst of a fight that looked like the end of their friendship.
