’90 Day Fiance’: Aladin Jallali and Deavan Clegg Call Laura Jallali a ‘Liar’
Laura Jallali of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way has gained more than a few enemies and sparked several rumors during her time on the show. From back-and-forth allegations with her now soon-to-be-ex-husband Aladin Jallali to a debate over a reportedly faked pregnancy with castmate Deavan Clegg, Laura has had no shortage of scandals.
Most recently, Laura moved to Ecuador with castmate Evelin Villegas (who is engaged to Corey Rathgeber) and claimed to be dating Raul Cabrera, Villegas’ ex. Now, she claims to be dating a blogger named Tony, who coincidentally runs a 90 Day Fiance blog called The Chantel Tea.
But in a new, revealing Instagram Live interview with 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates, both Deavan Clegg and Aladin Jallali argued that Laura is a liar whose claims can’t be taken seriously.
Deavan called Laura a ‘compulsive liar’ with a ‘problem’
In her Instagram Live interview with John Yates, Deavan said straightforwardly that she believes Laura Jallali is a liar and doesn’t have a new boyfriend. “I think she’s a compulsive liar,” the mother of two told Yates.
“She has a problem,” Clegg continued. “Everyone’s angry at me for calling her out on her lies and saying I’m a bully, but honestly, I’m not.”
The 90 Day Fiance star also dropped a major bombshell about Jallali’s pregnancy claims. 51-year-old Jallali claimed to be pregnant before saying that she had actually had an ectopic pregnancy and suffered a miscarriage. Because Clegg herself recently went through a miscarriage, she took the allegedly false claims personally.
“People need to realize that when she came out about her pregnancy, she told us that it was fake,” Clegg told Yates. “She told us she was gonna do it because she wanted to, like, get in the articles and all that stuff and get attention away from other cast members. So we knew it was a lie.”
Clegg said she thought that Jallali would eventually retract her statements and apologize. But instead, she escalated them. “When she got caught in her lie, she came up with the miscarriage thing,” the 90 Day Fiance star claimed.
She told Yates that the miscarriage lie got “out of control.” “I went through my miscarriage at the exact same time,” she added, which made the issue affect her on a deeper level.
Aladin said Laura ‘just wants attention’
After Clegg spoke with Yates, the blogger turned to Aladin Jallali for more information on his ex.
When Yates asked Aladin if he thought Laura was really dating Tony, Aladin burst into laughter. “I wish him just good luck. He needs it for sure. I wish them both good luck,” the 90 Day Fiance star joked. “Come on, man, it’s weird, right?”
Yates also addressed Laura’s recent claim that a family’s late matriarch, and a religious public figure from her longtime home state of Florida, had been her “second mother” before she passed. The woman’s son commented on Jallali’s Instagram asking her to take it down, which she eventually did.
“I’m so sorry for this woman, and even for her son, I saw his comment,” Aladin said. “But she never talk[ed] about her.” He said he didn’t believe that Laura and the woman in question had ever known each other well.
“Come on, she pass away, how come you play with people’s emotions and you say this?” Aladin added. “She just wants attention, man, she just wants attention.”
He also pushed back against Laura’s other claims after their separation
In his interview with John Yates, Aladin Jallali also fought back against his 90 Day Fiance ex’s many claims against him. Since the couple broke things off shortly after their wedding, Laura has claimed that her ex-husband was gay, that he used her for money and a visa, that his new company MC Travel Tours is a “scam,” and even that he gave her a black eye (which she has since denied).
When Yates asked Aladin what he thought of the allegedly faked black eye photo, Laura’s ex said, “I just laughed because I know it’s a big lie. And about the pregnancy…it’s disgusting.” He added that he felt bad for Clegg due to her miscarriage and that his ex-wife shouldn’t have made light of the topic.
Aladin even claimed that he had heard a fertility doctor tell his ex she couldn’t have more children without an egg donor. “I go with her to the doctor, and he tell her it’s impossible to have baby,” he told Yates. “So, what a lie.”
The 90 Day Fiance star also said that he hadn’t known Laura Jallali was allegedly not an American citizen when they were together and that he had first thought she was 40, not 51.
He also fought back against claims that he “used” his ex, whom he is currently in the process of divorcing, for money or attention. “I’m the one who support her when she come live with me,” he claimed. “And after that, she say I use her. I use her for what, I’m sorry?” he questioned.
