’90 Day Fiancé:’ Alina Calls out Steven in Recent Instagram Post
Alina is throwing some not-so-subtle shade at her boyfriend (fiancé? husband? ex?) Steven for not being supportive of her makeup look on Instagram. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star got a little feisty with Steven, and her cast members and fans are here for it.
Alina and Steven’s ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ journey
On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which aired Sunday, September 5th, audiences finally met Alina. Her friend was photographing her elaborate makeup look. She said, “I like makeup. I like body art. I think it helps me to express myself, to show my personality.” Alina said she likes to make herself “shine” with her various makeup looks. However, makeup is just a side hobby for her. She’s currently a student studying Chinese Language and Asian Politics.
In the episode, Alina said that she would be giving up her studies for a year to move to Turkey to marry Steven. While Steven has yet to propose, Alina expects it on their trip to Turkey. After that, they plan on getting married. Then Steven will apply for a visa so he can live with Alina in Russia.
Alina calls out Steven on Instagram post
While it seems on the show that everything is OK between Steven and Alina online, it is a little different. Alina posted a makeup look on her Instagram with a caption that was passively shading Steven. She captioned the photo, “Somebody with a V didn’t really like this photo.” This was an obvious dig to Steven, as he introduced himself in episode one as “I’m Steven, with a V.”
Alina’s caption continues, “But I think I look good here, and it took me a really long time to do this makeup.” She ends it with a reminder: “Girls, don’t let a man decide if you look beautiful or not.” This not-so-subtle shade is obviously about Steven. In the photo, Alina is wearing dark metallic eye makeup and a shimmery gold lip. She completed the look with rhinestone diamonds on one of her eyebrows.
Alina’s fellow ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ castmembers hype her up
Her castmember, Kenneth’ Kenny’ Niedermeier, or as he says, “Kenny with a Y,” commented on Alina’s photo, saying she should trust his opinion over Steven’s. He wrote, “Take it from a Y.” Another 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member Evelin Villegas commented, “You look amazing girl!!! Always.”
Many fans commented about how pretty the makeup look was. One user wrote, “You look beautiful, Alina! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Have a wonderful weekend sunshine! xoxoxo” And another fan commented, “Ooooh i think steVen is in trouble.”
Could it be that Alina is hinting at their relationship status with this shade? While 90 Day Fiancé stars are obviously not allowed to talk about their relationship until the season is over, would it be breaching the NDA to drop a subtle hint on an Instagram photo?
