90 Day Fiancé alum Jorge Nava recently filed for divorce from his wife Anfisa, just three days after their third wedding anniversary. Originally, they were a poster couple for the TLC franchise. But Jorge’s prison sentence caused their marriage to crumble quickly, and Anfisa seems unfazed by her estranged husband’s filing.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star promised to file for divorce when he was still in prison

Jorge and Anfisa were fan favorites during season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, and they tied the knot on August 1, 2017. Things appeared to be going well for the couple at first, but that all changed after Jorge’s arrest in February 2018.

Police busted Jorge with nearly 300 pounds of cannabis in his car, and six months later he received a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence.

According to TMZ, Jorge filed for divorce in Arizona during the first week of August. The court documents reveal that he listed their date of separation as November 19, 2019, and he also cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Jorge’s divorce filing comes as no surprise, as he promised back in March that he would leave his wife when he finished his prison sentence. The 90 Day Fiancé star says that Anfisa abandoned him while he was serving his time, and she started a relationship with another man.

Jorge Nava has a new woman in his life

Jorge recently told E! News that he has moved on from his marriage to Anfisa, and he is in a relationship with a new woman. He kept her identity a secret, but Jorge says they were friends before the relationship developed into a romance.

“When I went out to California to visit my family, we went on our first date and then a week after that, she came and stayed with me and we’ve kind of been together ever since,” said Jorge.

The 90 Day Fiancé star says that his new girlfriend is incredibly supportive of him. He also revealed that his soon-to-be ex-wife wasn’t there for him mentally when he was out his lowest.

Jorge admits that going to prison was “a blessing” for him because he came out healthier and mentally stronger. After losing a whopping 128 pounds behind bars, Jorge says he feels like a totally different person than he was before.

Jorge’s court docs indicate that his split with Anfisa should be relatively easy since they do not have any children. He also claims they do not have any shared assets or debt.

After the news of the divorce filing broke, Anfisa appeared to be unfazed as she headed to the gym for a workout. The personal trainer shared a pic on Instagram that featured the Russian native doing some weight training in a skimpy bodysuit.

Ultimately, Anfisa says that she knew she had to end it because it would be better for the both of them. She also claims that she didn’t start her new relationship with boyfriend Leo Assaf until she and Jorge had agreed to end their marriage.
