90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Angela Deem is not happy about all of those Lisa “Babygirl” Hamme comparisons. Fans have been comparing Angela to Lisa and she wants to make sure fans know that she is nothing like the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star. Here’s a look at how Angela and Lisa are similar and why she thinks the comparisons are not valid.
The ’90 Day Fiancé’ stars do have some similarities
Despite what Angela says, she does share similarities with Lisa — at least on the surface. For starters, they are both American women who fell in love with men from Nigeria who are significantly younger in age.
Angela and Lisa are also both in their fifties and have sparked up a lot of drama in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. This includes butting heads with their fellow co-stars, mostly over their stubborn personalities.
Given their respective ages, the two are both having difficulties starting families with their new husbands. In fact, Angela recently admitted that she can relate to Lisa’s baby struggles and has also experienced difficulty getting pregnant.
While there are obvious similarities between the two, Angela made it perfectly clear that she does not appreciate being compared to Lisa.
Angela fires back at the Lisa comparisons
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Angela recently opened up about constantly being compared to Lisa. The two may share similarities, but Angela believes that fans should not be comparing her to Lisa.
“No comparison,” Angela stated. “All I can say about that is there’s only one Angela.”
Angela went on to say that she is not a big fan of Lisa’s husband, Usman Umar, who is a popular rapper in Nigeria who goes by the name “Soulja Boy.” Usman has come under a lot of fire for attempting to use Lisa to further his career in the United States.
“I feel really bad for Lisa,” Angela stated. “All due respect to everybody, I wouldn’t put up with Usman one damn minute.”
Angela added that she believes Usman is scamming Lisa and planned to use her to get to America the whole time. She also noted that her husband, Michael Ilesanmi, feels the exact same way.
While Angela does not agree with all the comparisons, she clearly sides with Lisa when it comes to her romance with Usman. There is no telling how things will end up for Angela and Michael, but it is evident that she would have never stayed with someone like Usman.
Inside Angela’s pregnancy troubles
Although Angela is in her fifties, she is tried hard to get pregnant with Michael. In season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Angela visited a gynecologist after getting her period for the first time in several years.
Angela was very hopeful that she could get pregnant, but was met with devastating news at the doctor’s office.
In the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Angela found out that her ovaries had shrunk considerably because of menopause, something that significantly reduces the chances of her having children.
Lisa has also opened up about her desire to have children. Considering how she is nearly the same age as Angela, the chances of her facing similar hurdles are pretty high.
Did Angela go under the knife ahead of season 5 of ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’
Babies may not be in the cards for Angela, but that isn’t the only thing that has got 90 Day Fiancé fans talking. Viewers have also noticed that Angela looks completely in some of her recent posts on social media.
Based on the pics, it is clear that Angela has lost a good amount of weight over the past few months. The weight loss has transformed her look and led to speculation that she may have undergone plastic surgery.
Turns out, Angela did go under the knife. According to In Touch Weekly, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star got some Botox done in Georgia. She had the procedure done shortly after the travel bans were lifted around the country.
“After this long stay at home order, I was definitely ready for my Botox fix!” Angela shared.
