On ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After,’ Angela misses her family in Nigeria

Throughout this season on 90 Day Fiancé’ Happily Ever After, Angela and Michael have been planning their big wedding in Nigeria. But for Angela, it’s been hard to deal with the fact that none of her family will be there to take part in the celebration.

“This wedding ain’t gonna be easy for me at all,” she tells 90 Day Fiancé’ Happily Ever After producers. “I’m really heartbroken that no one in my family is able to attend my wedding here in Nigeria.”

However, she isn’t completely alone. Her best friend Jojo arrived in Nigeria just days before the wedding, and she’ll be there to support Angela as her matron of honor.

In the most recent episode, 90 Day Fiancé’: Happily Ever After, Angela wakes up next to Michael on their big day. But while Michael is all smiles and ready to go, Angela admits she feels anxious.

“I’m having anxieties in just the few minutes that I woke up,” she tells her fiance. “I have no family here.”

Later, when Angela is in the car with Michael and Jojo, heading to the wedding venue, she starts to feel unwell. “I feel sick to my guts,” she says.

“With everything going on today, I can’t help thinking about my family,” Angela tells producers. “I’m not having the wedding that I wanted in America. I really didn’t think it was gonna be this hard, but reality has kicked me in the a**.

Angela isn’t even sure if Michael can come to the U.S.

As she prepares to walk down the aisle, Angela starts getting nervous about her decision. “I’m getting married today,” she says in a confessional. “I’m scared to death.  — I guess I should be happy to get down to the altar, but the reality is, there’s just too much going on in my mind right now, it’s really too much to process.”

Along with missing her family, Angela isn’t sure if the wedding will result in a happily married life with Michael. She says she plans on filing for a spousal visa, but is worried he’ll never be able to join her in the United States.
