’90 Day Fiancé’: Ariela Wants Her and Biniyam’s Son To Have a Relationship With Biniyam’s Other Child in America

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Ariela isn’t the first American woman Biniyam has been with. He had a baby with his ex-wife, who is also American. She left Biniyam because she was suspicious he was cheating on her. When she went back to America, she took their son with her.

Now that Ariela has given birth to her and Biniyam’s son, she says she wants him to have a relationship with his half-brother.

Biniyam’s family is wary of his relationship with Ariela

Biniyam’s family has expressed their concern that Biniyam is repeating the past with his relationship with Ariela. During a family meeting earlier this season, one of his sisters asked him: “What if Ari takes the baby and leaves? How do you plan to not let that happen again?”

Biniyam tried to assure her that Ariela wouldn’t leave.

“I do not think my family trusts her,” he said. “I feel sad about it… I hope they eventually understand my relationship. I have learned from my past.”

Another sister told cameras: “I would be happier if he married an Ethiopian woman.”

Ariela wants her and Biniyam’s son to know his half-brother in America

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ariela spoke about her and Biniyam’s son, Aviel, meeting his half-brother.

“It’s actually something I think about a lot,” she told the site. “As I got older in my life, I realize family is really important… knowing where you came from. Obviously, I want my son to know about his culture, but the other thing is, I want him to know his place in the world, and that means knowing his extended family, it means knowing he has a brother. I want him to know about his brother in America.”

Biniyam doesn’t keep in touch with his ex-wife, but Ariela thinks everyone can be civil so the kids can form their own relationship.

“Regardless of what has happened in the past with Biniyam and his past relationship, these kids, they don’t have to be involved in that,” she said. “They can just be brothers.”

Ariela says the rest of her and Biniyam’s time on ’90 Day Fiancé’ is ‘extremely emotional’

Even though baby Aviel is born, Ariela says there’s plenty more drama to come the rest of the season.

“This past year has been the craziest year of my life,” she said. “I think a lot of it is unbelievable that someone goes through so many things and such a roller coaster of emotions in such a short period of time. I would definitely say there’s a lot more intense moments to come and a lot of surprises and it’s gonna be a very emotional journey… It’s pretty emotional.”
