’90 Day Fiancé’: Ash Naeck Admits That He and Avery Warner Weren’t Together When They Applied for the Show
Avery Warner and Ash Naeck seemed to be a good couple upon first glance of them on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. But after watching them throughout the season, it became clear that the two had a number of issues. The pair are no longer together but now Naeck has revealed that they actually weren’t together when they applied for the show either.
Avery and Ash’s relationship
When Naeck and Warner first appeared on the show, Warner was heading to Australia to visit Naeck. The two had had a rocky relationship in the past because Warner wasn’t sure whether she could trust Naeck or not. His career of being a relationship coach caused him to constantly be around women, which didn’t make Warner feel all that great.
Once she got to Australia, it became clear that she didn’t know as much about Naeck as she thought. While attending one of Naeck’s seminars, Warner realized that she had much different views on gender roles than Naeck.
Later, she also discovered that Naeck had lied to her about his divorce. He told her that he had been divorced for 10 years when in reality he had only been divorced for one year. He also told Warner that his ex-wife was OK with him taking his son to America, which wasn’t the case.
Why did Avery Warner and Ash Naeck breakup?
Naeck and Warner revealed that they were no longer together before the tell-all event. But at the reunion special, they had to rehash what happened between them.
During the reunion, Warner revealed that she had actually just asked Naeck to take a break so that she could think about things and Naeck ended the relationship.
“If that person is really committed, we will work things out without taking a break,” Naeck said. “How many breaks do you need to take to decide what you want to do?”
When Warner called Naeck out on lying throughout their relationship, he admitted that he hadn’t been completely truthful with her
“I wasn’t authentic with you because you’ve run away 10 times,” he said.
While on The Domenick Nati Show, Naeck also revealed that this wasn’t the first time that he and Warner had broken up.
“Well, we were chatting about that a few weeks ago and we always have like a little argument,” he said in the June 1 interview.
“I said to her that we’ve broken up like 10 times and she’s like, ‘No, no. We’ve broken up only five times.’ And I’m like, well, I’m a guy so I try to double everything up. And a girl will always try to divide everything down. So let’s come in between and say seven times give or take.”
They are currently still broken up.
Avery and Ash weren’t together when they started filming
Normally, couples apply to go on 90 Day Fiancé to document the relationship that they are already in. But according to Celebrating the Soaps, Naeck recently revealed on the Reality TV And Me podcast with Kristen Moore that he and Warner weren’t together when she applied for the show.
When Warner applied for the show, she asked him for another chance at making things work between them. Naeck agreed to do 90 Day Fiancé mostly so that he could meet Warner in person, according to Screen Rant.
While the show did allow him to meet Warner in person, it certainly didn’t help them stay together.
