’90 Day Fiancé’: Asuelu’s Sister Also Threatens To Beat up Kalani’s Sister in New ‘Happily Ever After’ Sneak Peek
The fifth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has been nothing short of dramatic, especially when it comes to the families of Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata.
It stems from the couple’s refusal to financially support Asuelu’s parents and eventually became so serious that Asuelu’s sister Tammy tried to attack Kalani. The drama continued in a sneak peek of the upcoming episode as Tammy took aim at Kalani’s sister Kolini.
Tammy has had a tense relationship with Kalani and her family
Tensions arose when Tammy and Asuelu’s mom Lesina began pressuring the pair into making regular monetary payments. Kalani and Asuelu explained that they could not afford to do so due to their own financial obligations. But Tammy and Lesina felt that as a Samoan man, Asuelu also had a responsibility to support his parents.
After plenty of back-and-forth, Kalani tried to be the bigger person and attempted to reason with Lesina and Tammy. But when she realized they weren’t getting anywhere, she started walking away, at which point Tammy lunged at her and threatened her with physical violence. “Wait till I see you, I’m gonna beat you up!” she said as Lesina held her back.

As tensions heightened, Asuelu and Kalani arranged a meeting with both of their families in an attempt to hash out their problems.
Lesina was eventually able to understand their stance a little more and apologized to Kalani for her role in the drama. However, Tammy refused to say sorry. She even flew home early because she was still so angered by what had happened between them.
“Asuelu forgot where he came from and the parents that [birthed him and raised him]. It just makes me sad and angry at the same time,” she said in a confessional.

A sneak peek of the first part of the upcoming tell-all special shows the families still going it over the request. Tammy seemed to be the most vocal, as she repeated her belief that her brother should be able to provide for both of his families.
“If he wants to send us money, that is none of Kalani’s business,” she continued.
Interrupting, Kolini challenged Tammy on the amount of money she sends to her parents, asking, “How much do you send your mom?” Tammy didn’t seem to answer the question, instead clapping back with a threat to “beat [her] up too.”
Kolini urged her to make a move as Angela appeared to chime in and criticized Tammy for her actions. Things became more and more heated, until the clip ends and cuts to a scene of another couple on the show. Fans will be able to see more of what happens when the first part of the special airs on Monday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
