“Babygirl” Lisa Hamme is not a fan favorite among 90 Day Fiancé viewers and she knows it. Throughout her season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Lisa was criticized by fans for how she treated Usman Umar.
When the “Tell-All” footage leaked, it came out that Lisa had called her husband the N-word, and fans were so outraged they started a petition to get her removed from the show.
Lisa and Usman have since split (she says she’s expecting divorce papers in the mail any day now), but the controversial reality TV star still has plenty of haters.

In an interview with The Domenick Nati Show, Babygirl Lisa was asked why she thinks people dislike her.
“The haters are going to continuously hate. They’re going to hate. On every season there’s gonna be a cast member that they don’t like. And I happened to be the one for the season. And I’m OK with that because it tells me that I did very well keeping everyone entertained during the quarantine,” she said.
Lisa told Nati that she doesn’t let the hate get her down. She feels a hateful comment says more about the commenter than her.
“For as much love as I get during the day, I get as many hate DMs. But it is what it is. I guess that makes them feel better to vent whatever’s going on in their life that they’re gonna jump into someone’s DM that they’ve never met in their lifetime but saw like five minutes of them on TV,” she said.
Lisa does say the number of death threats she receives has significantly decreased because she got the FBI involved.

Nati also interviewed Lisa back in May. At that time, she had a different reason as to why she had so many haters. She felt fans disliked her because she was married to a younger, attractive man.
“I’ve been receiving a lot of death threats and a lot of hate due to fans who are completely obsessed over a show. I guess it’s true in quarantine they continuously watch it over and over. I’m a 53-year-old woman married to a 31-year-old man so, you know, there’s a lot of hate there because my husband is very good looking,” she said in the May 22 interview.
Lisa also noted that Usman was not her first younger man. She proudly calls herself an official cougar.
“Women in the United States need to learn and understand because I am 53 years old, I am considered a cougar, OK? I have dated many young men. Younger than Usman. And in his culture, it’s acceptable for a woman,” she said.
