’90 Day Fiancé’: Babygirl Lisa Hamme Hints She May Be on Another TLC Show in the Future
There’s a chance we haven’t seen the last of 90 Day Fiancé star Babygirl Lisa Hamme. TLC viewers met Babygirl Lisa when she was trying to make things work with her soon-to-be-ex husband Usman Umar.
Babygirl Lisa was considered a controversial 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star due to her treatment of her husband. When the Season 4 “Tell-All” leaked, it came out that Lisa had called Usman the N-word. She received quite a bit of backlash from fans. There was even a question as to whether Lisa got fired for her comments.
Babygirl Lisa Hamme says TLC did not fire her
“Did you get fired from TLC?” asked Domenick Nati when he interviewed Lisa on July 17.
“No, I did not get fired from TLC,” she responded.
Since she first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé, Lisa has had her fair share of haters.
“The haters are going to continuously hate. They’re going to hate. On every season, there’s gonna be a cast member that they don’t like. And I happened to be the one for the season. And I’m OK with that because it tells me that I did very well keeping everyone entertained during the quarantine,” she said.
But Babygirl Lisa says she doesn’t let the haters bring her down. She feels the comments she receives are more about the commenters than her.
“For as much love as I get during the day, I get as many hate DMs. But it is what it is. I guess that makes them feel better to vent whatever’s going on in their life that they’re gonna jump into someone’s DM that they’ve never met in their lifetime but saw like five minutes of them on TV,” she said.
Nati also asked Lisa about her stance on the Black Lives Matter movement. Despite her past usage of the N-word, she agrees “it’s time for the United States to get a grip on this before more innocent Black lives are lost.”
Babygirl Lisa coyly answers if she’ll ever be on another TLC show
Some 90 Day Fiancé fans were surprised to see that Lisa wasn’t involved in B90 Strikes Back! Nati asked her if she was originally supposed to film the show but was then uninvited because she broke her NDA.
“The NDA stands true yet today,” she replied. So Lisa is still upholding her NDA with TLC.
Nati also asked the reality personality if she’ll be on “another 90 Day Fiancé show in the future.”
“Maybe, maybe not. NDA,” she said with a smile, hinting that she couldn’t say either way because of her NDA.
“Would I do another TLC before another 90 Day Fiancé? Most definitely,” she added.
