TLC has reportedly cut ties with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Lisa “Babygirl” Hamme. Sources claim that the network fired Lisa over her use of the n-word, which was exposed by her estranged husband, Usman “Sojaboy” Umar, during the tell-all. The news comes after TLC reportedly cast Lisa to appear on the upcoming 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, B90 Strikes Back.

Lisa confirms her involvement in ‘B90 Strikes Back’

B90 Strikes Back is TLC’s latest 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. The series will reportedly feature former Before the 90 Days stars as they react to what fans are saying about them on social media.

TLC has not confirmed an official cast list for the opening season, but sources claimed that Lisa, Tom Brooks, Avery Warner, Ed Brown, and a few others had committed to the show. Taking to social media, Lisa posted a story about the spin-off, which many fans viewed as confirmation of her involvement.

Lisa sparked a lot of drama in season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, so it makes sense that TLC wanted her to appear on the spin-off. Sources also claim that the network was willing to pay Lisa $10,000 to appear in the spin-off.

Unfortunately, her time as part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise was cut short following her controversial use of a racial slur. Although Lisa had already filmed a handful of episodes of the new spin-off, the network reportedly cut ties with her mid-season amid her n-word scandal.

Inside Lisa’s n-word scandal

A few weeks ago, footage from the season 4 tell-all of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days leaked online. In one part of the clip, Usman slammed Lisa for calling him the n-word as recently as a week before the tell-all was filmed.

“Lisa, last week you called me ni**er which I know is totally inappropriate in America. You called me ni**er, I don’t even get angry about it because I am used to how you are behaving,” he revealed.

Lisa never denied using the n-word. She did, however, apologize to 90 Day Fiancé fans on social media and tried her best to get ahead of the scandal. But a few weeks later, Usman revealed on social media that Lisa has used the n-word on more than one occasion.

Although the segment was part of the leak, TLC cut it from the final version of the tell-all. The network has not commented on why the clip was not featured in the tell-all, but fans have since speculated that TLC was trying to protect Lisa, who was set to appear on B90 Strikes Back.

Following significant backlash on social media, 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson assured fans that the situation was “being handled” before writing that she could not reveal any more details at the moment.

Did Lisa get fired from ’90 Day Fiancé’?

TLC has yet to confirm that they fired Lisa, but multiple sources close to the situation told Soap Dirt that Lisa is no longer a part of the 90 Day Fiancé family. The network moved quickly following the backlash on social media, which was sparked by the fact that they cut the controversial scene from the tell-all.

We do not know if the scenes Lisa already filmed will make it onto B90 Strikes Back, but there is a good chance TLC distances themselves from her altogether. This is especially true if Lisa decides to speak out against the network (which is a very real possibility, although she did sign an NDA).

Sources claim that Lisa is already mounting a legal case against TLC for firing her in a bid to recoup some of her losses, although the NDA and contract she signed with TLC probably gives them every right to fire her.
