’90 Day Fiancé’: Babygirl Lisa Hamme Reveals How She Lost Faith in God
90 Day Fiancé star Babygirl Lisa Hamme seems to be acclimating herself to a variety of Usman Umar’s lifestyle differences. During a chat with Domenick Nati on The Domenick Nati Show, Hamme revealed that Umar has had a profound influence on her relationship with religion. In fact, there was once a time when the controversial reality star gave up her belief in Christianity and the Christian god altogether. What’s more, it seems as if a conversion is on the horizon for Hamme.
Babygirl Lisa Hamme once lost her faith
There are times when those of faith find themselves challenged by the difficulties in their lives. It seems Babygirl Lisa Hamme faced such a challenge, and it shook the 90 Day Fiancé star’s faith immensely at the time.
During her interview with Domenick Nati, Hamme revealed that she once lost her faith in Christianity and god as a result of a personal loss.
Hamme explained, “My Christianity, and like I said, Usman and discussed this for three years now, I lost faith for some time. I had a full pregnancy, and day of delivery, my daughter died two hours before delivery.”
Hamme continued, “So I didn’t believe in god at that time. I was like, there’s no god, why would you do this to me? So I was just struggling with my own faith. So [I asked Usman] to tell me more about the Islamic religion.”
However, it sounds as though Usman Umar helped Babygirl Lisa find her faith once again. In fact, it seems as though Hamme will be converting to Islam.
The ‘90 Day Fiancé’ star plans to convert
Babygirl Lisa went on to explain to Domenick Nati that, thanks to Umar’s influence on her life, she plans to convert to Islam.
“So I will do my conversion when Usman is here in the United States or when I travel back. That what you saw was truly the beginning of my conversion into the Islamic religion. My name now is Fatima Lisa Renee Umar,” Hamme told Nati.
In fact, Hamme recently invoked Allah’s name on her Instagram page. In a now-deleted post, she reposted a photo originally posted by Umar, and captioned it, “Stay strong my husband Allah will protect our marriage from demons.”
Babygirl Lisa admits to calling Usman Umar a racial slur
While Babygirl Lisa Hamme may be converting to Islam, something that will surely please Usman Umar’s mother, it seems there’s some trouble in 90 Day Fiancé paradise.
In fact, Hamme was recently called out by Umar and dogpiled by fans for using racial slurs. Umar claimed that Hamme referred to him as the n-word.
Hamme told Nati, “That word was used out of context, it was used out of stupidity. My husband accepted my apology. But the haters don’t, they want to ride it out to no end.”
Hamme went on to claim that it’s just a matter of trolls and waiting for the controversy to die down. She said, “Other famous people who do entertainment, they said let it die down, let the haters subside. And the ones that are riding it are the ones that are trying to become popular like [me], that is their goal.”
One is left to wonder who Hamme’s famous friends in the entertainment industry are.
