90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star, Kimberly Dawn revealed that her mother, Sally, had died peacefully in the middle of the night. The Before the 90 Days Season 5 star posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother.
Sally’s advice to Kim on ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’
Kimberly’s mom, Sally, was featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, giving her daughter relationship advice. She was immediately a fan favorite because of her brutal honesty and sense of humor.
During the first episode, Kim reveals that she will be leaving her mom to go to Tanzania to see Usman’ Sojaboy’ Umar for the first time since she’s become her mom’s full-time caretaker.
Sally tells her daughter, “I’m going to miss you a lot, but I just don’t want you to be hurt. I just hope this all is good for you. Because if it isn’t, I’ll go… I’ll find him, and I’ll beat the crap out of him.”
She advised her daughter not to be the “perfect woman” for Usman and be herself. She told her that she wanted her daughter to “stay true to herself.”
’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ star, Kimberly’s mother Sally dies
On January 11th, Kimberly revealed on her Instagram that her mother, Sally, had died. She wrote, “My mom passed away last night. No one will ever understand how close her and I were.” Check out the Instagram post below:
The tribute continues, “She was my #1 supporter and my best friend. I will miss you for the rest of my life, but I know you will always be with me and in my heart. I love you Mommy.”
Kimberly told her fans how much their support meant to her at this difficult time. She commented, “I can’t answer every phone call or message at this time. Thank you all for your words, prayers and thoughts.”
The 90 Day Fiancé star posted her son’s Instagram post and wrote the caption, “Thank you everyone for the heart felt words. We have lost a key piece of our world, but we will try to stay strong as that’s what she would’ve wanted. Thank you everyone again for your support. Means so much to us.”
Kimberly’s son, JD, posts a tribute to his grandma
Kimberly raised her son, JD, on her own with the help of her mother, Sally. So the relationship between JD and Sally was very close. JD posted a series of photos of himself as a baby and his grandma Sally taking care of him. In the sweet tribute, he wrote: “I lost my grandma last night. I cannot find the words to describe the pain of losing someone that impacted my life in such a positive way & always accepted me no matter what.” Check out the Instagram post below:
The post continues: “Even with close friends I never talked about my family much, but grandma was the rock of my small family, & as strong as I’ll try to be for us, I know I’ll never be the same. I will never forget everything you did for me and for mom all the way up until your passing.”
JD ends the post: “You were the best grandma I could’ve asked for & I know you’ll watch over the rest of the family. I know you’ll always be here with us & as much as that helps, the hurt of knowing I’ll never be able to get a hug and kiss from you is something that only time will hopefully heal. I love you forever.”
