Faith thinks she found the man of her dreams in Loren. But is he actually more of a nightmare?

Loren and Faith are sharing their international love story on the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Unfortunately, he’s throwing up multiple red flags that should give Faith serious pause about pursuing this relationship.

Loren is keeping multiple secrets from Faith on ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’

Loren, 33, lives in Las Vegas. Four months ago, he met Faith, a 30-year-old from the Philippines, on a dating website. The two fell for each other, and now Loren is traveling abroad to meet his girlfriend in person for the first time.

Loren is Faith’s first boyfriend, and there’s a lot riding on their meeting. After years of being on her own, she’s hoping she found the one.

“I am very comfortable with who I am. It’s hard to date here in the Philippines if you’re a ladyboy,” Faith, who is transgender, explained in a confessional. “So that’s why I’m single for 30 years. But now my life has changed because I met a special someone from the U.S.”

However, Loren, who works as an assistant at drag shows and in retail, hasn’t been transparent with Faith about his current situation or his intentions regarding their relationship. For one, he wants an open relationship (and is actively seeing other people), though he hasn’t shared this with her. He’s also “broke” and homeless. Loren wants to move to the Philippines, where the cost of living is cheaper. Faith is unaware of his financial situation and his vision for their future.

Loren’s revelations stun Faith on ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’

Loren and Faith’s first meeting in Manila went well. But he was disappointed when she didn’t want to spend the night with him, instead preferring to take things slow.

The next morning, it was her turn to be disappointed. Loren revealed that he’d spent all his savings on his plane ticket. He’d brought just $46 with him for his three-week trip to the Philippines.

“It doesn’t make sense for him to have so little,” Faith said in a confessional, noting her confusion because the U.S. presents many opportunities to make money.

A trip to the market raised more concerns. Loren, who couldn’t believe how cheap things were compared to the U.S., freely spent what little money he had.

“He seems very impulsive,” Faith said. “That worries me about our future together.”

Later, he stunned her by revealing his plan to move to her country. Faith’s hope was to move with him to the U.S.

“In America, I’m homeless,” he explained. “I don’t make enough money to afford to live anywhere.”

Though Loren’s financial situation troubled her, Faith seemed to take his revelations in stride.

“I just hope there are no more secrets,” she said.

Unfortunately, for Faith, there are more revelations to come. At the end of the Sept. 22 episode of Before the 90 Days, Loren told a producer that shortly before leaving Vegas, he hooked up with a friend. She had just texted him to share that she has an STD. And he’s been experiencing some symptoms.

“It has the potential to ruin our relationship,” he admitted.

In a teaser for the upcoming Sept. 29 episode, Loren comes clean about having gonorrhea. Faith is understandably shocked, especially once she learns he likely contracted it because he recently had sex with other people. She sees his actions as a betrayal and “cheating.”

Faith is right to be disturbed. If she and Loren had agreed to an open relationship, that would be one thing. But as he admitted earlier in the season, he deliberately hid the truth about his sexual activities because he did not want to scare her off. Now, his behavior is putting her at risk. If she had not put the brakes on a physical relationship the day he arrived, he could have passed the STD to her as well.

While Loren insists that he loves Faith, he seems to be more in love with the idea of moving abroad to escape his problems in the U.S. She is taking a risk by opening her heart to someone, but he is not being honest and is not treating her with the respect she deserves. At this point, Faith might be better off sending Loren back to Las Vegas rather than indulging in his dreams of a low-cost, carefree life in the Philippines.
