Season 5 premiered on Dec. 12, 2021, and before the premiere aired on TLC, fans took to Reddit to express their opinions on this season’s cast. From language barrier to trust issues, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5 gives fans all new couples with some all-too-familiar relationship problems. However, there’s one cast member that fans are not vibing with, and that’s Gino.
What do we know about Gino and Jasmine from ‘90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ Season 5?
With only one episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5 released so far, there’s not a great deal of information available about Gino. We know the basics of his relationship with Jasmine. The two met on an international dating site, and now Gino has decided to travel to Colombia, where Jasmine lives, to meet in person. However, in the episode, he also explained to his brother that he would like to propose and start a family with her before he returns to the states.
Audiences only saw Jasmine through FaceTime calls with Gino, but it’s evident she has issues with jealousy. Gino explains to the cameras that Jasmine often requires him to report his location and even asks to talk to the people around him. He also mentioned Jasmine “gets emotional,” and he tries to avoid upsetting her when he can.
Although, it doesn’t look like Gino is 100 percent confident in this new relationship on Before the 90 Days Season 5. He sounds nervous as he says, “There’s a lot you don’t know about a person if you’ve only been speaking online.”
Some fans aren’t sure Gino is prepared to handle a relationship with a woman like Jasmine. One Redditor wrote, “As someone who’s half Panamanian, that girl is going to eat Gino alive. He will not be able to handle her at all. It’s going to be like Tim/ Jeniffer only worse as at least Tim had a voice and was direct.”
Why does Gino have fans feeling ‘uncomfortable’?
In one of the teaser trailers for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, viewers watched Jasmine confront Gino about a very serious allegation. She asks whether or not he sent nude photos of her to his ex-girlfriend. Of course, we don’t get the answer in the teaser trailer. However, we see Jasmine storm off in tears as she cries out, “Oh my God, you’ve broken my heart.”
That scene, coupled with Gino’s nervous giggle, has fans discussing him on Reddit. One user wrote, “You cannot convince me that Gino is all there. He makes me feel very uncomfy.”
Another Redditor replied, “Gino is giving me really bad vibes. Like my body knows I’m looking at an Alien/Lizard creature and I want to punch it in the face and run away.”
