90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5 introduced us to several new couples this season. Mike and Ximena showcased their international relationship’s journey throughout the season but ended things on a pretty rough note. However, Mike and Ximena revealed that they reconciled before filming the reunion at the tell-all. We know Mike paid for several items for Ximena throughout their relationship, but what does he do for a living? Here’s what we know.
‘Before the 90 Days’ Season 5 couple Mike and Ximena had a tumultuous relationship this season
Thirty-four-year-old Mike hails from Thiells, New York. Finding love hasn’t been easy for Mike, and he’s remained single for most of his life. In the Before the 90 Days teaser trailer, he told cameras that bringing Ximena and her two sons back to the States was one of his primary goals.
In the first episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, Mike explained that he and Ximena met on an international dating site. He told the cameras, “So since I went 34 years without finding a woman in my local area, I just decided to change my location in a dating application and just switched it over to Colombia.”
However, as the season continued, viewers learned a much different story. In one of the later episodes, Ximena broke up with Mike, and he became angry. He demanded she give all the items he bought for her throughout their relationship and told her she would be homeless without him. Ximena said, “Just because you paid for my rent and you helped me doesn’t mean I’d be on the street. I can work as a model, and that’ll pay for my rent and food.”
Mike replied, “What kind of modeling job are you going to work for? Are you going to go back to that adult internet job?”
Ximena later admitted that Mike lied about where they met because he didn’t want anyone to know it was on an adult entertainment site.

Mike works in an IT tech support position
Before the 90 Days Season 5 focused mainly on Mike’s time as a volunteer firefighter for the Thiells Fire Department northwest of NYC. Mike began volunteering there right after high school. Mike has shown support for fellow first responders on social media, and he clearly prides himself on the job as a firefighter.
However, his actual job is in the IT industry. Mike works as IT tech support. On Instagram, Mike replied to a commenter’s question about his line of work and said, “I work for a financial tech company.”

While only the first part of the reunion has aired so far, Mike and Ximena shocked audiences when they announced that they had reconciled after filming ended for Before the 90 Days Season 5. Although, for those hoping they last, don’t hold your breath. In the teaser trailer for part two of the reunion, Ximena admits to everyone she’s no longer in love with Mike. The last half of the Before the 90 Days Season 5 reunion airs on Apr. 8, 2022.
