’90 Day Fiancé’: Big Ed Brown Is Filming Again, Is He Getting a Spinoff?
On every season of 90 Day Fiancé, there are a few cast members whose personalities and names become ingrained in viewers’ minds. Big Ed Brown was one of those people on the last season of 90 Day Fiancé’: Before the 90 Days. He may not have found love on the show but he certainly garnered some level of fame, and now, he might be getting a spinoff.
What happened with Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega?
Brown went on the show with his girlfriend Rose Vega. He went to the Philippines planning to propose to her, but he lied about a few things, including his height and appearance.
“So, I wasn’t completely honest with Rose about [my height] and a couple of other things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never a good idea to lie. You have to be honest and I’m learning that even if you have strong feelings for someone, it’s better to get it out in the open. If not, it’s gonna come back and bite you.”
Throughout their time together, Brown received backlash for the way he treated Vega. First, he asked her to take an STD test, then he told her she needed to shave her legs, and to top it all off, he bought her mouthwash because he said her breath was “not pretty.”
Fans were upset with the way that Brown treated Vega and eventually he apologized for asking her to shave her legs.
Big Ed and Rose breakup
Vega put up with a lot of things from Brown, including his demands but when he finally revealed that he didn’t actually want children, she couldn’t take it anymore.
“I should have been more truthful,” Brown told Vega at the time. “I apologize. I should’ve said I don’t want more kids, but I wanted to get to know you. I wanted [you] to get to know me to make sure we are compatible.”
For Vega, who had been very explicit about her plans to have more children, this was the last straw.
“I know who [you are]. I think,” she said to him. “First [you] lied to me about [your] height. Right? Then, you want to give me an STD test right? And about mouthwash, why you tell me? You know I [am] sick, I have [an] ulcer.
“I’m disappointed because you always embarrassed me,” she continued. “I think [you] don’t love me. I’m done.”
Is Big Ed filming a new show?
After Before the 90 Days ended, Brown appeared on B90 Strikes Back, a show that gave the cast of Before the 90 Days a chance to respond to what fans had said about them throughout the season. But now, Brown might be filming for a new show.
According to 90 Day Fiance News, Brown was recently seen filming.
“Big Ed was spotted filming with a ‘date’ this weekend,” the account captioned an image of Brown and a mystery woman. “He reposted many story mentions on his Instagram which showed him surrounded by cameras in San Diego on Friday night. What do you think he’s filming for?”
Though Brown reposted some of the images of him filming, he hasn’t officially commented on whether he is getting a new show or not. From the looks of the comments’ section of 90 Day Fiance News’ post, fans are hoping that Brown doesn’t come back onscreen.
