’90 Day Fiancé’: Big Ed Brown and Liz Are Engaged and Fans Are Livid
Big Ed Brown has had his fair share of relationships crash and burn within the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. But now, things may have turned around for him as reports are circulating that the star may be engaged to his ex-girlfriend, Liz. But even if Brown has found lasting love, fans of the franchise are not happy in the least.
’90 Day Fiancé’ star Big Ed and Liz’s engagement
Big Ed met Liz while on 90 Day Fiancé spinoff The Single Life. The two dated for most of the season before breaking up in quite a dramatic fashion. Earlier this week, a user on Reddit it revealed that she had spotted the pair together in Santa Barbara. The woman claimed to have sat next to Big Ed and Liz and noticed a huge engagement ring on her finger.
Shortly after the first sighting, another fan ran into the pair and confirmed the engagement, according to ScreenRant.
Fans are not feeling it
When a fan account posted a recent picture of Big Ed and Liz, fans were quick to give their thoughts.
Former 90 Day Fiancé star Lisa Hamme also chimed in.
“I have no room for Liz clout chasing with Ed #criedwolfaboutabuse women like her turn my stomach bc I am a DM survivor and I know the hell I went thru with my X and the law to obtain a protection order from abuse,” she wrote.
“I don’t feel sorry for her one bit anymore,” another person wrote.
“Honestly I’m pretty disappointed in Liz after the way Big Ed treated her the 1st time around,” one user commented.
“I just can’t with this girl… After all that abusive s–t she went through with this vile creep, she then went ahead and got engaged to him??” one person added. “I have no more sympathy for her whatsoever at this point.”
Some wondered if this was all for show.
“Interesting this is the third person who I ran into story about these two … are they on tour?” one fan commented. “The guy is revolting.”
“Maybe he is recording another season and she is around for the cameras?” one person said.
Big Ed did not treat Liz well on ’90 Day Fiancé’
During the Single Life Tell All special, Liz revealed that Ed broke up with her and then immediately starting posting things with other women in Las Vegas. Ed admitted that he messed things up between them.
“Our relationship didn’t have a chance,” he said. “So, everything she said is true. She told me I don’t want to move too fast and I want to keep my friends, and I just skipped right over that. I was so excited, for the first time in 29 years, that I had someone who was interested in me. And I was so afraid to like anyone, to like Liz, because I would get rejected, and the second she said she saw me as boyfriend material, I stopped listening. I didn’t listen to one word she said, and I was like, ‘I’m gonna make her my girlfriend. I’m gonna make her world amazing. I’m gonna do everything I can to give her what I thought she deserved.’ And I f-cked it up.”
