Big Ed Brown has made a real name for himself with 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. He’s now in a new show exclusively on discovery+ that fans of 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs will want to see called 90 Day: The Single Life. After watching the first episode, it’s safe to say he’ll make headlines again. Big Ed, Molly Hopkins, Colt Johnson, Fernanda Flores, Brittany Banks, and Danielle Mullins are rejoining the dating scene after having relationships in the spotlight that didn’t work out.
Big Ed Brown and Rosemarie Vega were dating in Season 4 of ‘90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’
When talking about Big Ed, it’s essential to highlight his relationship with Rosemarie “Rose” Vega. The couple met on Facebook, and Ed traveled to the Philippines on Before the 90 Days. At the time, Ed was 54, and Rose was 23. When Ed’s plane touched down, there were problems from the start, as well as complaints from Ed. Plus, he lied about his height. He even asked Rose to take an STD test, and he made comments about her shaving her legs and her breath.
Despite any issues that arose, Rose was still hopeful for a proposal, but that all changed when Ed revealed that he doesn’t want any other children, as he already has a daughter named Tiffany. Rose wanted more kids though, and Ed wanted to get a vasectomy. After that major issue came up, Rose broke up with Ed.
Big Ed reveals the ‘kind of woman’ that he’s ‘looking for’
In the premiere episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, Big Ed, who is 55 and living in San Diego, California, is getting back in the dating game with several dating profiles. He takes the time to have photos taken in different costumes, including an Elvis look and a wrestling ensemble.
“Here’s my new approach. Are you ready?” Ed explains to the cameras. “I want people to laugh, and costumes are a great way to kind of break the ice.” It’s assumed that he plans to post some of these images on his dating profile, but it’s unclear at this point if that has worked.
Big Ed even sees a dating coach, so he’s serious about finding someone. He actually has a crush on a woman named Liz who is 28 and works in his favorite restaurant as a manager. He asks her out in episode 1, but we won’t get to hear her answer until episode 2.
Ed reveals that he seems to “connect with younger women.” “I typically connect with younger women because, I mean, I don’t consider myself old,” Ed explains. He says he “won’t date anyone” as young as his ex, Rose, again though.
Big Ed spoke to the cameras, opening up about the “kind of woman” that he’s “looking for,” and he didn’t hold back with what he has in mind. “I’m more than ready for love, and the perfect kind of woman that I’m looking for I think number one would have to be kind,” Ed explains. “Number two, she has to be hot. And that’s H-A-U-T-E, which means she’s cute with a sense of fashion. She has to love to make love, of course. Physical, she needs to be my body type, which is, you know, short.”
