’90 Day Fiancé’: Big Ed Gambles on Colt Johnson Engagement
90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed might not be the most qualified to make relationship judgments, but he’s out there doing it anyway when it comes to Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra. And honestly, he might even be making some good points. Colt Johnson recently got engaged to Vanessa Guerra, and while the two seem happy for the time being, Ed doesn’t see it lasting past six months. His reasoning? The two both have histories of infidelity.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ star Colt Johnson gets engaged
90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson has a bad reputation as a result of his behavior on and off the show. He’s admitted to cheating on several significant others, and is infamous for sending out photos of his genitalia. What’s more, Vanessa Guerra has also cheated — she hooked up with Colt Johnson while still married.
Now, Colt Johnson is engaged to Vanessa Guerra. However, Guerra had her doubts.
“I mean, he proposed to [his ex-wife] Larissa [Dos Santos Lima] in what, five days of knowing her? So, I know he doesn’t take his time. I am someone who [will] procrastinate a little bit though, so I can drag something on for years,” Guerra told Us Weekly.
“He’s known for proposing to everybody. I was nervous. I didn’t really know what to say. I think I asked, I don’t know how many questions, [including], ‘Are you sure?’”
Meanwhile, her Colt Johnson of 90 Day Fiancé infamy was equally worried. He was concerned about scaring Guerra away.
“I really thought I might scare Vanessa away and that would just end our friendship or relationship. And that was a real chance I had to take, but I felt like I had to do it,” he told the publication.
Big Ed of ‘90 Day Fiancé’ calls it on six months, at most
Although Colt Johnson and his 90 Day Fiancé partner seem happy for the time being, Big Ed is giving the two six months at most. While fans may not expect 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed to give out sound advice or pass adequate judgment, given his own debacle with Rose Vega, he does make some valid points.
“I have a six-month wager on that. My feelings on that is he’s an interesting character. We didn’t get along at all — big surprise — and his mom almost, like, wanted to jump out of her chair and smack me around, but I wish anyone success in a relationship,” Ed told Us Weekly.
“I just think I don’t hold a lot of stock in that on both ends because I have this belief that things always end as they begin, and it started out with both of them cheating on each other. And I just don’t think it’s a good situation,” the 90 Day Fiancé star added.
“I’m an architect; when you build a house, you start with the weak foundation and the house is going to fall down. So, I wish them luck. I hope they can find happiness for their sake. But I don’t know. Let’s wait and see.”
Big Ed was interested in Fernanda, calls Danielle Jbali sweet
Meanwhile, Ed has sought out love on 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life, but after some difficulty in his relationship with Liz, he admits he’d be willing to seek out love elsewhere. What’s more, he says he was interested in Fernanda Flores.
“I thought I was smitten with Fernanda [Flores]. [But] she’s 24 and that’s one thing that I’ve learned through this whole process is that age is a number and it’s important,” Ed told Us Weekly in part.
“Danielle’s probably one of my favorite stars on the show because she’s real sweet. I just hope she can learn to love herself because I think she’s surrounded by a lot of people that don’t have her interests [in mind]. The guy that she met seems really, really sweet. But yeah, I like Danielle,” he added of Danielle Jbali.
