’90 Day Fiance’: Big Ed Used to Look Like a Model and Fans are Losing It Over Old Pics of Him
Every season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, there are a few cast members who stand out from the rest. This season, the star, whether you like him or not, is Big Ed Brown. From the moment he came on-screen and announced his relationship with Rose from the Philipines, viewers were intrigued to see how his story played out. Since then, Brown has done a number of things to upset viewers, but the first mistake that he made was lying about his appearance.
But now, pictures of Brown have surfaced from years ago and fans are absolutely losing it over how good he looks.
The new photos of Ed
When Rose and Brown met in person, Rose was surprised to see how different he looked.
“Now that I saw Ed in person, he is much smaller than me,” she said on the show. “And he is a little bit fat.”
Recently, photos have started floating around that fans thought could have been of Brown. TMZ was able to confirm that the pictures actually were of the 90 Day star.
In the photo, Brown poses in an all-white outfit, looking tanned and in great shape. Brown told the outlet that the photo was taken at the San Diego Zoo on his second-date with his ex-wife.
Fan reactions to the photos
Fans didn’t hesitate to comment on Brown’s change in appearance.
“This actually puts a lot of his behaviors in context,” one person tweeted. “While he clearly has some congenital issue with his neck, he was at some point a fairly decent looking guy. The problem is, he isn’t anymore and is acting like he’s hot sh*t.”
“Wtfffffff. Well now it’s very clear where his narcissism comes from,” another person wrote.
“Wow!! Too bad he let himself go, he wouldn’t be looking for love in another country,” another person said.
But some people understood Brown’s drastic change in appearance.
“People age and get fat,” one fan wrote. “I barely resemble what I looked like at 25 and I’m only 45 now. Life happens. Not to mention whatever medical problems come along.”
Big Ed wishes he had told the truth
Lots of people lie on the internet about who they are. But lies are obviously not the best basis for a good relationship. Brown now regrets starting his relationship with Rose on the wrong foot.
“So, I wasn’t completely honest with Rose about [my height] and a couple of other things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never a good idea to lie. You have to be honest and I’m learning that even if you have strong feelings for someone, it’s better to get it out in the open. If not, it’s gonna come back and bite you.”
Brown does admit that he went about a lot of things the wrong way with Rose, but he had the best intentions.
“I don’t think I could’ve made a better fool of myself,” he told the outlet. “When you’re in love, you’re not thinking. You’re not thinking about anybody else but yourself and the person you’re in love with. And I was frustrated because nobody understood.”
