’90 Day Fiancé’: Brittany Banks Calls Americans ‘Undereducated’ in New Instagram Rant
If there is one thing that Brittany Banks has proven during her time in the spotlight, it’s that she is not one to hold her tongue. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star is extremely outgoing and is not afraid to put fans in their places when they come for her. Recently, Banks has been getting a lot of criticism for her choice to move to Jordan to be with her partner Yazan. Now, she is clapping back at all of the people who have given her trouble.
Brittany and Yazan’s relationship
Banks met Yazan during a trip to visit her sister. Yazan’s sister lived in the same apartment building as Banks’. The two met when Banks walked in the room while Yazan was on FaceTime with his sister. Once the two saw each other, they knew they wanted to get to know one another better. After only four weeks of talking, Yazan sent Banks money to visit him in Jordan. A week after she arrived in the country, Yazan proposed.
Brittany decides to move to Jordan
Banks and Yazan decided that it would be best for her to move to Jordan. Banks made this decision after only visiting the country one time. She also failed to tell her father about her move up until a week before she left.
Despite the culture of Jordan being so different than what she is used to, Banks says she loves the country.
“Jordan’s amazing,” she told Entertainment Tonight.”I like the people, I like the culture. I like the different things it has to offer, the natural beauty of it, the deserts and all that stuff. When I went I was like, ‘Wow, this is so different than what you would expect hearing on the news or something like that.’ They try to make it seem so bad and dirty and stuff but it’s not.”
What does Brittany have to say to her haters?
Banks recently had enough of people talking about her decisions and decided to call some fans out in her Instagram story.
“Let’s talk about the loud and wrong crew,” she wrote, according to The Blast. “The ones who told me to do research they hadn’t done themselves. So, after traveling extensively, I found out Americans are severely undereducated. We are 37th in the world for math and science, which means a lot of us aren’t doing research.”
She went on to describe the problem with Americans.
“We just think intelligence comes with the citizenship or we repeat what we watch on tv and assume those we watch have done the research for us & usually they haven’t and are saying what fits their agenda. Continuously making gross general assumptions that threaten & violate people’s individual integrity,” she said. “Only 42% of Americans have a passport far behind other modernized countries.”
She went on to discuss how Americans needed to travel more and claimed that she did the show to help Americans get educated.
After a scathing rant like that, fans will probably think twice before coming at Banks for any of her decisions again.
