’90 Day Fiancé’: Colt Johnson Calls His Relationship With Jess Caroline a ‘Summer Fling at Best’
In season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Colt Johnson was dating a woman named Jess Caroline. He even takes a trip to Brazil to visit and meet her family, but there’s more than a lot of drama along the way.
When Colt comes back to Las Vegas, Nevada, he asks Jess to come and visit with him. But when she does, she accuses him of sending messages complete with pictures to eight different women. Things get even worse when Colt reveals that a woman named Vanessa Guerra, who Jess even had a problem with him talking to, was living in his spare bedroom in his house.
Obviously, Jess broke it off, but they still have to talk about things at the virtual Tell All. A lot more drama has been brought to the surface already, and the situation with Colt and Jess is no different.
Colt Johnson drops some major truth
Not only is Jess participating in the Tell All, but so is Colt’s ex-wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. Together, they both rip into Colt and his mother, Debbie. However, the truth is being revealed as well.
During the Tell All, Colt admitted to sleeping with Vanessa before meeting Jess, and that he slept with her “some more” after they broke up. At one point, Jess accuses Colt of sleeping with Vanessa while they were still dating.
Vanessa joins the conversation, and explains that they were both in “bad marriages.” She describes them as “really good friends.” Colt goes on to explain the situation further.
According to Colt, Vanessa reached out to him after Larissa’s second time getting arrested. He says once the marriage “further deteriorated,” he started to converse with Vanessa. He says they just “connected,” but Colt goes on to say after the divorce, he wanted to date Vanessa, but he says she “wasn’t interested.” She started dating someone else, which Vanessa said got him “upset,” and he says they are still friends.
Colt calls his relationship with Jess a ‘summer fling at best’
Jess chimes in, and says that she thinks they have a friends with benefits type of situation. When asked how he feels about Vanessa today, Colt reveals that he loves her. Jess asks if that’s the case, why he started dating her.
“Because Vanessa said no, and if she said yes, I would have dated her in a second,” Colt reveals to Jess. “I’m sorry that you were in a s***** relationship with me. Like, it was a summer fling at best.”
Jess replies that she was never “bad” with him. “Because you love Vanessa, you lied to me, and you use me,” Jess tells him. “He’s a cheating boy.” She even calls him a “liar boy” as well.
Colt admits he cheated on Jess with Vanessa
The host, Shaun Robinson, asks Colt if he slept with Vanessa while he was dating Jess, and he drops another bombshell. After a long pause and Jess telling him not to lie, Colt says, “OK, after I came back from Brazil, I cheated on Jess with Vanessa. I’m sorry Jess.”
Obviously, Jess gets upset, and says that he’s a “liar” and that his mother and Vanessa help him lie. She says she was right, and she goes on to say that he’s been cheating on her with Vanessa since he met her.
It’s hard to believe these two were dating and that Colt even asked Jess’ father for permission to marry her. We’ll have to see how the rest of the Tell All plays out.
