’90 Day Fiancé’: Colt Johnson Says Fans Will See Him Change by the End of the Season
Colt Johnson seems to be going down the same path on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. His relationship with Brazilian native, Jess Caroline, seems to be ending just as badly as his marriage to Larissa Dos Santos Lima.
Some might think he’s falling into a pattern. But in a recent interview, Colt revealed that fans will see him become a different person by the end of the season.
Colt has had two failed relationships with Brazilian women, and it started with Larissa on ’90 Day Fiancé’
Colt made his reality TV debut on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé with Larissa, a Brazilain woman he met online. The two got engaged in Cancun, Mexico, and Colt then applied for Larissa to come to the United States on a K-1 90-day visa.
The two got married and moved in together with Colt’s mother, Debbie. But their relationship was strained from the start. It ended in divorce, with Larissa being arrested for domestic violence offenses and cancellation of her green card.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Happily Ever After follows his new relationship with Jess
On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Colt is dating Chicago-based nanny, Jess Caroline. He and Debbie visit Jess in Brazil to meet her family, but things start taking an ugly turn when Debbie mentions Colt’s friend, Vanessa Guerra. Jess has been suspicious of Colt’s relationship with Vanessa, but he insists they are just friends.
In a confessional, Colt admits that he has a crush on Vanessa and did sleep with her once. Colt and Vanessa meet and talk all the time. But Colt lies and tells Jess that they don’t talk at all.
So when Debbie announces that Vanessa is staying at their home to babysit their cats, Jess gets angry. She throws her shoe at Colt and storms out of their hotel room. Jess decides to break it off with Colt because of his lies.
Colt says he will evolve this season
Seeing how similar Colt’s previous relationships were, many fans wonder if he’s just looking for drama. In a recent interview with ET, Colt admitted that he’s drawn to the drama.
“I think part of the drama, the fire, the passion, is something that I just love, and I honestly think that dating an American girl — grew up down the street — is not even something I can do at this point, because I feel like I need that extra level of excitement,” he said. “It’s like a drug at this point.”
Fans are currently watching Colt and Jess’ drama unfold on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. But the reality star revealed that they’ll see him as a changed man by the end of the season.

“Let me tell you, a lot has happened, a lot is going on in my life,” Colt explained. “And that’s what’s great about this season is that there’s a lot of that, actually. It goes in really interesting directions and you’re gonna find out that the person I started with is not the person that I may end up with or who I become.”
“I feel like I’ve been running since I married [my ex-wife] Larissa, or before that, and I’m still running,” he added. “I think I’m getting a little tired of running, let me tell you. So, we’ll see what happens next.”
