90 Day Fiancé stars Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker haven’t publicly chronicled their post-marriage journey like most other couples from the TLC franchise. So it’s been hard to gauge how the two have been doing.

Many fans were skeptical about their relationship, given the 39-year age difference. And it looks like they may have been right. According to reports, Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker are officially calling it quits.

’90 Day Fiancé’ star Mark Shoemaker reportedly filed for divorce

Six years into their marriage, Mark Shoemaker, 64, and Nikki Shoemaker, 25, are reportedly splitting for good. According to InTouch Weekly, a March 2 court docket confirms Mark Shoemaker is filing for divorce. The report also suggests a judge denied Mark Shoemaker’s motion to seal the divorce filings.

Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker first appeared on season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple revealed that they met through a dating website. And after talking for some time, Mark Shoemaker flew to meet Nikki Shoemaker in her hometown of Cebu City, Philippines. Mark Shoemaker’s ex-wife, with whom he shares four children, is also from Cebu.

Despite a 39-year age gap, Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker found chemistry and got engaged within a few days of the visit. He filed for a K-1 Fiancé visa, which led to Nikki Shoemaker’s arrival in the U. S.

The show chronicled how Mark Shoemaker pressured Nikki Shoemaker to sign a prenuptial agreement. Soon after she agreed, the two were married in Hawaii.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ stars’ divorce filing suggests Nikki cheated on Mark

Neither Mark Shoemaker nor Nikki Shoemaker are active on social media. So it’s difficult to pinpoint the events that led to their divorce filing. But as reported by InTouch Weekly, the 90 Day Fiancé stars’ divorce documents contain language suggesting Nikki Shoemaker may have cheated on him.

In the section where Mark Shoemaker was asked to cite a reason for the divorce, he reportedly checked the box that reads “Adultery — my spouse committed adultery.” And in the following section of the form, he marked the box reading, “For these reasons, I request an absolute divorce.”

But according to the report, Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker both decided on the divorce and have settled some issues already. Mark Shoemaker checked the “Mutual Consent” box on the divorce filing that reads: “My spouse and I have signed a written settlement agreement that resolves any issues related to alimony, the distribution of property, and the care, custody, access and support of minor or dependent child(ren).”
