’90 Day Fiance’: 1 Couple Gets Married, 2 Get Engaged, and the Rest Call it Quits
We finally made it to the end of this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. You might think that the season finale of a show like this would be full of weddings and promises to reunite later, but what it was really full of was nothing but drama. One couple did get married but that doesn’t mean that things went smoothly, even for them.
Who got married?
Last night, Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar struggled to decide if they were still going to get married.
“I’m not marrying you because you’re a celebrity in your country. I’m marrying you because I love you, Usman,” Hame told him. “Do you still want to marry me?”
Though Umar didn’t seem so sure that the wedding was a good idea, it was too late to turn back.
“I have never denied you, your love…I cannot say no to you now, so yes I will marry you but please, I want to beg you now. Believe me when I say something and trust me as the man you’re going to get married to,” Umar said.
The two then finally went through with their wedding. Despite absolutely no one in Umar’s family approving of the union and their constant fights, Hamme and Umar walked down the aisle.
Two engagements
In probably the shock of the season, Lana and David Murphey were still going strong-ish on the season finale. Despite his private investigator sending him proof that Lana was on other dating websites, Murphey continued to believe that Lana was serious about him. He gave her a phone with a camera so that they could communicate and get off of the dating website that Murphey was paying for.
Even though Lana claimed to be happy that Murphey was in Ukraine, she was too busy to spend any of Murphey’s last day in the country with him. She did, however, show up to the airport to see him off.
At the last minute, Murphey proposed to Lana at the airport and she accepted.
“I have my girl now,” he said after the ring was on her finger. “I really have her. Everybody thought that she wouldn’t be there to meet me. Not only was she there, but she’s now mine.”
Lana and Murphey weren’t the only ones to get engaged. Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina also moved forward in their relationship after coming to the brink of a breakup.
After coming to the United States and fighting with Paschel’s new girlfriend Mary, Malina reclaimed her place as Paschel’s lady. Paschel then introduced Malina to his two sons, Paxton and Dakota.
“I think Varya coming here was a very bold move. I think it shows she wants to be a part of this,” Paxton told the cameras.
Later, Malina basically told Paschel that she was ready to get engaged to him.
On one of Malina’s last days in the US, Paschel took her on an excursion where you write your wishes down, close your eyes, and ring a bell. While Malina had her eyes closed, Paschel got down on one knee. Malina accepted the proposal this time.
What happened with everyone else?
Avery Warner and Ash Naeck were not featured on this episode as they said their goodbyes last week. Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega are done for good but Brown was able to reconnect with his daughter on the finale. Yolanda spoke with a private investigator to find out more about her boyfriend Williams. Stephanie Matto and Erika Owens are also done but Matto finally came out to her mom as bisexual during the finale. Darcey Silva claimed to be done with Tom Brooks for good, but we will have to wait until next season to see if that’s true.
