’90 Day Fiancé’: Danielle Mullins Reveals ‘1 of the Reasons Why’ She Has ‘Trust Issues’
In the history of 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs, one couple seems to lead the pack when it comes to the drama. Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali, 41 and 26 respectively at the time, didn’t last, and eventually divorced. But before that happened, a lot of drama and tears were shed. However, they’ve both moved on from those days.
Danielle is starring in a new exclusive series on discovery+ where she’s dating again. It’s called 90 Day: The Single Life, and Danielle recently revealed on the series “one of the reasons why” she has “trust issues.”
Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali had a memorable relationship
Fans first met the iconic couple in season 2 of the original 90 Day Fiancé. The drama continued in seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, and things really took a turn for the worst between them. After meeting online and eventually in-person, they were married on the series after Mohamed came to Ohio from Tunisia on the K-1 visa. But it was clear they weren’t going to last with problems, including financial issues that Danielle wasn’t upfront about.
There was a good amount of drama between them, including law enforcement being called by Mohamed on more than one occasion and Danielle claiming Mohamed cheated, according to Radar Online.
Mohamed ended up leaving his wife, eventually moving to Miami, according to E News. He relocated after getting his Green Card two months prior. Although Danielle wanted to annul the marriage to prompt Mohamed to get deported, they divorced in 2017, and Mohamed is still in the country. Danielle even sued Mohamed for $12,500 at one point.

In 90 Day: The Single Life, she goes to Maryland for a girls’ trip with her three young friends, Lexi, Lauren, and Michelle. While driving with them, Danielle reveals some surprising information about her ex-boyfriend before Mohamed whom she had four children with when the topic of lies and deceit in relationships comes up.
“That’s why I don’t deal with the kids’ dad, because he’s with someone that I used to be friends with…” She goes on to explain that this person was a friend and co-worker of hers that would attend Pure Romance parties, in which sex toys were sold. It’s a hard situation to deal with, and one that Danielle attributes her “trust issues” to.
“Me and the kids’ dad were together 22 years, and we never got married because we figured we were making it this far, why do something and have it break?” Danielle reveals to the cameras. “After we broke up, my ex got together with someone who I used to consider a friend, and I think that is one of the reasons why I have trust issues because it’s betrayal. It hurts.”
Danielle is open to dating again, and one of her friends puts her on a dating app during the most recent episode. She’s already found a guy for Danielle to talk to, who she awkwardly has a conversation with over the phone. The guy, named Jason, will be meeting up with Danielle in the upcoming episode, although her friends will be there as well, at least for the first part of the date. We’ll have to see how the situation goes down. Maybe Danielle will find someone new.
