’90 Day Fiancé’: David Murphey Admits He Chatted With Caesar Mack’s Maria
90 Day Fiancé fans were shocked to discover that the Ukrainian beauty David Murphey had been chatting to was real. However, there have been rumors and theories that Lana was paid to appear on the show. Meanwhile, Murphey has recently admitted he chatted with the same Ukrainian woman that Caesar Mack was interested in during a previous season, Maria. It sounds as if the two men might have more in common than fans thought.
Caesar Mack pursued a Ukrainian woman
Before David Murphey, there was Caesar Mack. Mack appeared on 90 Day Fiancé with the aim of meeting up with his Ukrainian love, Maria.
However, Mack revealed that he met Maria on Anastasia Date, a service that allows men to spend money to send women gifts and various other services. Via Anastasia Date, Mack spent $450 to send Maria flowers and a card.
Mack later revealed that he also sends Maria $800 a month, and that he’s spent around $40,000 on her since they started talking. “She emailed me back and there were immediate sparks. Yeah it was like firecrackers and everything were just booming off. She’s kind, smart, funny, she makes me feel special. She is my soulmate,” Mack said of Maria.
Sadly, Mack was also stood up, not unlike David Murphey. Eventually, Maria was revealed to be a real Ukrainian woman. However, she and Mack did not work out.
David Murphey and Caesar Mack talked to the same woman
It turns out that David Murphey and Caesar Mack have more in common than they’d thought. Fans of 90 Day Fiancé have already drawn obvious parallels between the two — both were sending large sums of money to Ukrainian women via a third party.
However, it turns out that Murphey and Mack both chatted with Maria online, possibly around the same time. According to Monsters & Critics, Murphey chatted with Maria about five years ago. For the record, this would be around the same time that Caesar Mack was interacting with Maria.
According to Murphey, Maria was too high-maintenance for his taste. He claims that after half an hour of conversation, the two never reconnected. Perhaps Mack and Murphey can kindle a new friendship based off of their mutual interest in Ukrainian women seeking money.
Some ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans felt David Murphey was a stalker
While some 90 Day Fiancé fans were rooting for David Murphey, hoping he’d find and win over Lana, others felt as though he was basically a stalker.
Some fans pointed out that Lana clearly did not want to meet David Murphey, since she’d already stood him up several times. They also pointed out that Murphey was seeking out her place of residence and identity without any sort of approval on her end, or any indication that she wanted to meet.
One Redditor said that Murphey’s behavior made them uncomfortable. They wrote, “Yeah, he’s gone from delusional to falling off the deep end. This is actually making me uncomfortable, and angry.”
“She chatted with him on a PAID dating site, sent him devil emoji and made him go mmmm. It’s so freaking obvious if you don’t have any way to contact someone other than a website that you have to pay to use, she’s not your ‘girlfriend’ dude. He is so delusional. It’s very scary,” wrote another commenter.
