’90 Day Fiancé’: David Murphey Reveals Potential New Girlfriend in Instagram Post
David Murphey was one of the most interesting people on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. His relationship with Lana was pretty unbelievable. Before filming, he had been dating her for seven years without ever meeting her in person and only spoke to her through an app that he had to pay for. Everyone in Murphey’s life thought that Lana was a catfish. Lana ended up being a real person and Murphey proposed to her at the end of the season. After filming wrapped, Murphey admitted that Lana had broken off the engagement. Now, his latest Instagram picture has fans wondering if he is in a new relationship.
Lana and David Murphey’s relationship
Murphey had been looking for a Ukrainian wife for years before he met Lana.
“I stopped dating in the USA 15 years ago,” he wrote in an Instagram Q&A. “Every time I did I would start thinking about Ukraine, so I stopped trying so my heart was free just in case I went to Ukraine. I have dated well over 100 women in Ukraine. Turned down many marriage proposals and have been turned down twice myself.”
During the course of their relationship, he tried to meet Lana five times and she failed to show up for the first four. After that attempt, Murphey hired a private investigator to find out more about her.
“I know I got a lot of lies from Lana,” he said on the show. “So I’m hoping the investigator will validate that Lana is who I think she is because I don’t know if I’m ready to find out if my truth is not the truth.”
Unfortunately for Murphey, the investigator believed that Lana was scamming him as well. Instead of believing his friends and the professional investigator, Murphey went back to Ukraine. This time, Lana did show up.

The two went on a few dates while Murphey was in Ukraine but Lana never seemed excited to be affectionate with him. Before leaving Ukraine, Murphey proposed to Lana. She accepted.
The breakup
Leaked footage from part two of the tell-all reunion revealed that Murphey and Lana are no longer in a relationship.
“Right now, I would say we are not together,” Murphey said. “I’m not going to say we won’t be together in the future. She’s under way too much stress with what’s going on with the show. And the people who bother her. I told her that’s part your fault, you can get off.”
But Murphey was still planning to move to be with Lana.
“It takes a year or more to get a visa,” he said. “Government isn’t even open. And now there is a ban on immigration. My next step is to move to Ukraine. I’m retiring and moving to Ukraine.”
Does David have a new girlfriend?
So far, everyone has been under the impression that Murphey has been trying to make it work with Lana. But before part one of the tell-all, he posted a picture with a new mystery woman.
“Tell all time…..Guess who,” he captioned the photo of him and the blonde woman.
The woman in the photo, Taisiya, posted the picture on her Instagram story and provided more clarity.
“He works with my dad LOL, chill,” she wrote.
So, it seems that the relationship is just friendly for now.
