’90 Day Fiancé’: David Murphey’s Ex Lana Has a Cameo and Is Speaking English
TLC fans will remember watching David Murphey pursue his Ukrainian girlfriend, Lana, on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7. By the season tell-all, David informed viewers that he and Lana weren’t together anymore. Since then, Lana has been spotted on Cameo and speaking English, no less!
David Murphey’s relationship with Lana on ’90 Day Fiancé’
Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was a wild one. There were quite a few couples that repeatedly made headlines for their dramatic relationships. David and Lana captivated TLC fans, at first, because many of them were convinced that Lana wasn’t actually real. When she finally did meet David in person after seven years (and standing him up several times), fans were shocked.
On David’s Instagram, he would often defend Lana for appearing stand-offish. He blamed her in-person demeanor on the editing.
David Murphey says he and Lana ‘are not together’
By the end of their season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, David had proposed to Lana, who seemingly accepted. But when he was asked about their engagement during the tell-all, he said they didn’t have a wedding date in mind.
“No, of course not,” said David. “It takes a year or more to get a visa. Government isn’t even open. And now there is a ban on immigration. My next step is to move to Ukraine. I’m retiring and moving to the Ukraine.”
David also said during the tell-all that he and Lana were no longer together. But he had hope for the future.
“Right now, I would say we are not together,” he told host Shaun Robinson. “I’m not going to say we won’t be together in the future. She’s under way too much stress with what’s going on with the show. And the people who bother her. I told her that’s part your fault, you can get off.”
Since then, David hasn’t posted any more photos of Lana on his social media.
Lana is on Cameo
As reported by Cinema Blend, Lana can now be found on Cameo. And, surprisingly enough, she can send messages in English.
Fans will remember that, on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Lana used a translation device to communicate with David. Her introductory video on Cameo doesn’t by any means prove that she’s fluent or could speak English when she was with David, but her pronunciation is notably impressive if nothing else.
Additionally, TLC fans will remember that Lana told David she could only communicate with him via a specific app (that he was paying for). She wasn’t supposed to be on other communication sites, like Facebook. But it seems, at least now, Cameo is A-OK.
We’ll have to see if anything progresses between David and Lana. They may just be back on our TV screens someday.
