’90 Day Fiancé’: David Still Has Hope for Him and Lana Even Though They ‘Are Not Together’
90 Day Fiancé fans have been watching David Murphey painfully track down and woo Lana, a woman he’s been “dating” for seven years. As fans of the show recently witnessed, Lana is indeed real, and she and David finally got the chance to meet in real life. In the most recent episode, they went on a bowling date and she explained why she gave David a fake address.
On David’s Instagram, he’s been posting photos of him and Lana. They’re smiling at the camera after their first time meeting, after their first date, and after their first week together.

As many fans know, much of the “Tell-All” was leaked before airing. The leaked footage revealed that David and Lana aren’t exactly together right now. But he has hope for the future.
“Right now, I would say we are not together. I’m not going to say we won’t be together in the future. She’s under way too much stress with what’s going on with the show. And the people who bother her. I told her that’s part your fault, you can get off,” David told host Shaun Robinson.
In another clip, David was seen proposing to Lana and she seemingly accepted. When David was asked if he and Lana have a wedding date in mind he said, “no, of course not. It takes a year or more to get a visa. Government isn’t even open. And now there is a ban on immigration. My next step is to move to Ukraine. I’m retiring and moving to the Ukraine.”
During the “Tell-All,” David also revealed he spent over $200,000 over the years to speak to Lana.
David says his relationship with Lana looks worse because of the ’90 Day Fiancé’ editing
David has protected Lana throughout their season of 90 Day Fiancé airing. He says the editing of the show makes their situation look a lot worse than it was.
David no longer allows comments on his Instagram page, but when he did, fans would often comment that Lana was scamming him. David told fans that they weren’t getting the whole picture and blamed the “editing” of the show.
“It’s painful to watch you. If you are acting obtuse on purpose, please have more self-respect. You come across as lonely and desperate, holding onto a dream that wants nothing to do with you,” wrote one fan on his Instagram, as reported by In Touch.
“I don’t control editing,” he responded.
Based on the leaked “Tell-All” footage, it seems David isn’t giving up on Lana just yet. We’ll just have to wait and see how their story plays out.
