’90 Day Fiancé’: Debbie Says Larissa Keeps ‘Interfering’ In Colt’s Life
Colt Johnson’s mother Debbie says she’s done with his ex-wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima, but she doesn’t believe her former daughter-in-law is done with her son. The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After star recently suggested that Larissa is still trying to interfere in Colt’s life.
Debbie and Larissa have had a strained relationship
On Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé, fans quickly learned that Colt and Debbie come as a package deal. The mother and son live together and are very close. So during their marriage, when Colt and Larissa argued, Debbie was often present and involved in their drama.
It’s safe to say that Larissa and Debbie’s relationship has been strained from the start. Debbie was always worried that Larissa was mistreating and using Colt. And Larissa felt that her mother-in-law was too overbearing.
The two fought a lot while they lived together. But even after Larissa and Colt’s divorce, they continued to take jabs at each other on social media.
Larissa shades Debbie on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’
On this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Larissa opens up about her time with Colt and Debbie. She reveals that she’s still dealing with the ramifications of her domestic abuse cases. And she’s also worried about getting deported after Colt rescinded her immigration application.
“Living with Colt and Debbie was hell,” Larissa says on the show. “Most close of a nightmare.”
And Larissa also takes an initiative to warn Colt’s new Brazilian girlfriend Jess Caroline about her ex-family. She calls Jess and tells her that Debbie is a “wolf,” and not the cute old lady she seems to be.
So when Debbie has a meltdown on her very first day in Brazil, Jess recalls Larissa’s warning and wonders if what she said about her is true.
“Larissa called me and told me about Colt and Debbie,” Jess says. “She say, ‘Be careful because Debbie’s not an old lady cute, she’s rude.’ First, I no believe it, but I think now, I need more time to check if she’s right or not.”
Debbie reacts to Larissa’s comments on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’
After seeing Larissa call her a “wolf” in that phone call to Jess, Debbie wasn’t exactly thrilled. And in a recent interview, the reality star suggested that her former daughter-in-law made the warning call because she is still fixated on them.
“Yeah, I didn’t think that was very nice of her to do that,” Debbie told ET. “I wouldn’t do that to her. She claims that Colt and I are dead to her but she keeps bringing us up and she keeps interfering with his life, apparently, so.”
But despite their volatile history, Debbie said that she wishes no ill will toward Larissa. And she revealed that she truly wants to see her succeed.
“I like to see how she’s doing,” Debbie added. “I don’t want anything bad to happen to her, I want her to have a happy life.”
